Jump & Jack’s

This is a really neat place. It was my husband’s and my first time going with our one year old son and my brother and sister inlaw and their two year old daughter. It was a great way for the kids to release all their pent up energy with it being to cold to play outside. A huge two/​three story tall jungle gym maze kept our little wild ones busy! There’s a separate play place for toddlers 2 and under and then another room full of ginormous blow ups bouncey houses and games. It was pretty packed with older kids who were playing pretty rough but my son still had a blast climbing all the obstacles and there was a lot of staff wandering around to make sure things stayed under hand. Adults are allowed to accompany younger kids who are a little uncertain about exploring alone, so I got to play too! FUN! I got to be a kid again too and see pure joy and excitement on my kids face as we went sliding down the three story tall slide. Well worth the $ 4 to get in.
They also had a full menu to choose from. We got a 14″ Tony’s pizza for $ 14 bucks and it was very tasty! Plus free refills on pop. Yay!
This place is a great way for parents to bond with their kids, or just to turn them loose to go wild. Totally loved it and will be back I’m sure this winter!

This is a nice place but it definitely doesn’t make sense that you pay $ 10 per kid and they can’t go in the inflatable area??? Maybe if they closed it on weekdays when the price is lower ($ 8) it would make sense but my kids get a bit bored after a couple hours in the big play place and if I pay that much I want them to stay for a long time (to wear them out!). The play place is awesome but they beg me to go in the inflatable area and it’s annoying to tell them that for some random reason only kids in a birthday party can go in. Of course they just see other kids going in but they can’t.

Wow! What a difference a couple years makes. My son, now nearly 4, had a great time climbing and sliding at Jump & Jack’s when I took him on a Friday morning. He loved the interactive mat as well. It wasn’t too crowded, but once again, I have to stress that if you have the choice, avoid this place on the weekends or during holidays. Being there on a regular weekday was a lot less stressful for me, considering most of the children there were right around his age. It’s much easier to keep an eye on your child when it’s not insanely busy. The play area is large, but contained — there’s only one place to enter and exit the building except for fire exits in the back.
Having been to a few of these indoor play places now, I can say Jump & Jack’s is definiteIy the most well-​maintained and cleanest that I’ve seen. I also appreciate that they serve healthy snacks like carrot sticks for a very reasonable price.

We came for the kids to jump, as implied in the name. As it turns out, you need a reservation to access that part of the building. And you need to have so many people to do so. So the entire purpose of out visit was defeated and that’s a shame, because this was for a birthday. Service has been very inconsistent. A tray of drinks was brought and just left at the table. No straws. Food is subpar. Really disappointed.

We were actually in the neighborhood to do something else but had to cancel due to weather. So I searched Unilocal for something else to do with the kids and this place popped up! The kids had soooo much fun! I have a 8 year old, 3 year old, and 18 month old… there was something there for all of them to enjoy. They had so much fun and did not want to leave. They LOVED the playground… you could get lost in there… there are so many fun things to do. I even went through it with my 18 month old (I am 5ft 10in and didn’t think I would be able to do it but I managed)…and she enjoyed every minute of it. There’s also a toddler area that is secluded from the big kids and carpeted… love it!
And we stayed long enough that the inflatable section opened up! My 18 month old was heartbroken that she was too little for that area. But the two older kids had a blast on the inflatables!
We will definitely be returning!

We came here with about 10 kids age ranging from one to thirteen. It was great except the kids weren’t allowed in the actual jumping room unless you reserve a party there. Needless to say none of the kids understood this, so it was definitely a let down for them. The name is Jump and jack. Then shouldn’t they be allowed in this room?

My child and I love this place. It’s not super easy to supervise your kids here unless you are with them every second. I would not recommend for young children because of this reason. Highly recommend.

We come here a couple of times a month. We’ve been coming for about a year and it is always a blast for our daughter. There is a huge play area with plenty of slides, climbing equipment, and all kinds of things to keep them busy.
There are five areas in the building. Some birthday rooms, the big playground, an interactive light jump mat, a baby/​toddler room, and a big inflatables area. The inflatable area is only open at certain times on certain days so make sure to check first if you want to be able to go there too.
I love that they have a separate area for toddlers so that the bigger kids don’t overpower them. There are lots of squishy mats and balls and stuff for them there.
They serve food there and don’t allow outside food or drinks. So far what I’ve had is decent enough. Basically pizza and chicken fingers and stuff.
Weekday prices are $ 8, weekends and Friday nights are $ 10, and crawlers to age two are $ 4.
If you plan on coming often I’d suggest the multiple play pass because you save about $ 40.

I took my kids (ages 6, 9, 11) to meet friends at Jump & Jack’s. We have been here a few times before, and I wanted to provide an update to some of the older posts. When they first opened, the inflatables were only for birthday parties. However, they now open these for set periods during open play too. Also, in the past I did not observe staff monitoring the play areas. During this visit, there were multiple staff walking around to ensure safety (telling kids not to run, etc).
I thought we would only be there a few hours, but we ended up staying almost 5 hours, and closed the place down! That is a pretty big testament to the the variety of things there are to do, given the ages of my kids. After their friends left, they found other kids to play with — it was a friendly crowd, and an overall great experience! We will definitely plan to return!
As a side note, we had passes we won from a silent auction donation through our church/​school fundraiser (St Vincent Ferrer in Kenwood). I appreciate their philanthropic side as well, and always like to support local businesses who give back to the community!

Absolutely LOVE this place! My daughter loves it, and I really enjoy taking her. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have always gone above and beyond what I would expect. I love that they have an area for smaller children. I have taken my daughter here since before she could walk!

My only complaint about this place is that I wish it were closer to where I lived, but it’s well worth the trip to take my 14 month old toddlers. I have twins. My wife works every other weekend, so I was in search of something to do with the kiddos during this dreadful winter weather we have been having in the Cincinnati area. When I heard that they had a room entirely dedicated to Toddlers, I knew immediately that it was worth a shot to see what it was like. My kids walked in and felt right at home — they were frankly a bit overwhelmed at first with all the options they had to play with, which I loved. In the toddler room, Jumping Jacks offered a good variety of things that you might possibly have at home, in addition to things you most certainly wouldn’t unless you have a 1,000 sq ft of extra space on your hands. They had little toddler slides, a little «tree fort» for the kids to climb in and play, tunnels, large /​soft building blocks, and lots of cause /​effect toys on the wall (and that is just to name a few). My kids played non-​stop for at least 3 hours, which is a lot for 15 month old kids in my opinion; I never would have thought they would make it through their nap time, but they did. After fatigue set in, their café was a nice treat as well — I was able to feed the kids some of the menu items, in addition to some of the food I brought from home, which made transitioning them to the car much more pleasant — they fell right to sleep.
I highly recommend this place — it seemed like kids of all ages were having a blast, but I know toddlers were.

I feel they are the only ones who really understand what a Birthday Party should be about. PLAYING! While all other places have you play & bounce & close with cake within 1.5 hours, so you end up with a sugar hi kid, THIS PLACE DOES IT RIGHT. A little bit of playing, then cake & pizza & then ALL THE PLAYING THAT THEY WANT, until the place closes. So they really burn out the sugar rush & you go home with a happy & tired kid, as it should be.
I also really like this place because its a bunch of chutes & ladders. Something any kid can do. Finally they are open till 8pm on the weekdays & have food in house which helps me keep my little one entertained but also make sure she is fed on schedule. Its a 5 stars for me.

We went on a rainy Saturday afternoon. It was very crowded but we had two toddlers that are two so they have a toddler room for kids under 3 which is awesome. Despite being crowded it looked like an awesome facility. It had slides, obstacle course, a big bouncy house, a big basketball type game, and one if those interactive projector games on the floor. The price is great and they had a coupon deal with Unilocal.The food prices are also decent. The staff is friendly. They also have multiple private birthday rooms. All in all it was a good time and we will be returning. Just maybe when it’s not so busy.

This was a fun way to spend a few hours with the kids. If I lived closer, I can see myself bringing them there when snow is on the ground to get exercise. The place was bright and clean. Just remember to bring socks!

I was very impressed with Jump & Jacks and I’ll admit, my expectations going in were not the greatest. I live well in the city so we have plenty of playgrounds, splash parks and rec center pools nearby to take advantage of, but this was a very hot day that repeatedly threatened to rain so I was looking for something indoors to do with my son that would allow him to burn off some energy, but would be a little different than our typical rainy day visit to the museum or library. Indoor playgrounds often have me concerned, because they always seem packed and there are way too many parents not watching their kids which has gotten me into more than one argument with parents who choose to park their butts and talk or mess around on their phone instead of interacting with or supervising their kids. Sorry, I digress. I made the nearly 40 minute drive to Jump and Jacks and my first impression was that the staff was very friendly and how spotlessly clean the place was. I was very impressed. My son is under 2 so was therefore $ 4 and I knew that while he would enjoy the toddler room, he definitely has an adventurous side and would want to check out the bigger play equipment. I asked if he was allowed to play on it and the staff informed me that «of course» he could, but stated that either my husband or I may want to go with him and tipped us that the smaller slides were in the back. This set was very big, with several tunnel slides, racing slides, lots of tumbling mats and mini mazes and obstacle courses and plenty of areas to climb. We went with him as he climbed and played and I can honestly say that he had a blast and I had just as much fun playing with and watching him enjoy himself. I was also very impressed in that I saw two different staff members walking around the large play set supervising the kids and as one kid fell, a staff member was very quickly over there to check on him. It was also refreshing to see that the vast majority of the other parents were up climbing around and playing with their kids or were supervising their older kids to ensure they didn’t tackle the younger ones. Props to those moms and dads. My son also thoroughly enjoyed the toddler room, which had soft carpeting, a few tumbling mats, a coupe of small slides and some age-​appropriate toys. I could tell though he was close to being outgrown for some of it. The interactive music and light screen that was projected onto the floor was quite the hit with my little dancer as well. They had a café, which I did not experience, but it seemed as everything was reasonably priced so had we not already eaten, I would not have been opposed to grabbing our lunch there. The inflatables were in use for a private party so we didn’t do that either, which was fine as he was probably too young to participate anyway. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. For kids over 2 I believe it was $ 10. I definitely felt like we got our money’s worth with the $ 4 and I could see paying a little more once he’s older and can participate in more on his own, but after he turns 2, I fail to see how he will take advantage of enough to make the $ 6 increase worth it, at least until he’s older and can play a lot longer, particularly if the inflatables aren’t active. I feel that right now he’s at that magic age that made this worth the money, if he were younger and couldn’t play on the larger set, I wouldn’t have felt like the toddler room alone would have been worth it. While I was definitely impressed and I wouldn’t consider this places prices to be outrageous by any means, the drive and $ 10 price tag once he reaches 2 will mean this place will be more of a rare treat than a frequent destination.

Take your kids here when the weather is cold or rainy! It will tire them out (and you) but they will have a blast!

It’s a huge indoor play ground! Every friday 5−9pm they inflate the blow up area (bounce house, soccer and baskeball) they even have a mini rock climbing wall, all at no extra cost (WARNING — by 7pm on fridays it is a mad house!!! there are a lot of kids and they are everywhere!!!)
The staff are few (and teenagers). They leave it up to the parents to enforce the rules… which is probably best… but i have seen them crack down on running every now and then.
You and your kids will leave exhausted!

Charges $ 10 a kid and you only get access to half the space, entire bounce area is reserved for private parties. Basically you get a gloried McDonalds playground for $ 10 a head, not worth your money.

I went to Jump and Jack’s to party it up with my one year old twin nephews, and let’s just say those kiddos sure know how to party… ok maybe it’s their parents and the staff of the facility, but still even with not having any children of my own Jump & Jack’s is a pretty neat place. If it wasn’t so busy in there, you can bet I would have been running around like a big kid or an idiot. Whichever.
But that place could be a great hang out spot for the kiddos for sure. I think it was $ 10 per child, may be less for the babies. They had slides, stuff to climb on stomp on, jump on, you name it. There is even a counter to buy drinks and pizza. The pizza was pretty tasty and priced pretty well too.
They have rooms for birthday parties, and tons of picnic tables in the main area to put your stuff and eat your goodies. Across from the party rooms they have a room for the smaller children to run around in as well with blocks and a tree that doubles as a slide. (It’s more of a quiet room.)
For the birthday parties they have inflatable basketball, a bouncy house, a rock wall and tumbling mats. The kids got 30 mins in there, and then I figured they opened it up to all the kids. The only negative to this place in my opinion is that. After the birthday parties are over the saddest thing in the world happens. They deflate the inflatables!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! I saw many unhappy kiddos who weren’t allowed to play on it, and it even made my heart sad, and I’m not even allowed on it!
UPDATE ON THIS!!! The manager took the time to write me after my review and let me know: «Saturday and Sunday’s the inflatables are reserved exclusively for our parties, but every Friday night they are open to the public for our Friday Family Fun Nights. We also open them periodically during the week for special occasions as well!»
All in all, it seems like a great place. The parents don’t have to pay to come in and watch their kids. Recently they have added a point of sale spot right at the front door, so you don’t have to worry about your little ones running out! I think it’s a great place to spend some time and let them expel some of that energy. I’m just bummed that I’m not a little one anymore, so I can’t jump on the bouncy castle! haha

Came here with our 16 month old for a 3 year old’s birthday party. I was worried that he was going to be too little to interact with all of the play areas, but was pleasantly surprised that most of the indoor playground was definitely navigable for him with adult accompaniment. He was a little young for the inflatables area and adults aren’t allowed in the bounce house so he wasn’t too interested in that. I think technically he wasn’t supposed to do any of that since he’s under 34 inches, but I guess they leave it up to parent discretion since none of the staff seemed concerned about it.
There really wasn’t any staff supervision in the play areas, but when we were there, all the kids were pretty well-​behaved and it seemed like parents were always nearby. The place also seems very clean and well maintained. We did check out the toddler room (for kids under 2) and it was very nice: cushiony carpet and lots of gross and fine motor toys.
We did the actual birthday party stuff (cake, presents, pizza) in a dedicated party room, which was a little small for our large group, but the 2 young staffers handled it all pretty well. The pizza wasn’t the best, but the kids sure liked it. They have a «no outside food or drink» policy, but no one seemed to have a problem with the fruit/​veggie pouch and milk in a sippy cup I gave my son in the party room.
I just wish there was one of these closer to NKY because as fun as it was, it’s just too long a haul for us to go on a regular basis.

Ok, we have returned to Jump & Jacks dozens of times since my initial review and I have to say, we LOVE it there! I bought my son one of their t-​shirts, but have to keep it hidden because as soon as he sees it he starts screaming with excitement ‘Jump & Jaaaaacks!!’ with a twinkle in his eye! It’s downright adorable.
What is nice is that they have open play at ALL times! The inflatables are not always open, but everything else is available for use if they are open. The only downside of that perk is that if there is a private birthday party, small children do not understand why they cannot enjoy the inflatable area too. Beware! Breakdowns may occur! It’s hard to have a rational conversation with a 3 year old. Ha!
