After your Float, keep relaxing in our Post-​Float Lounge with our Zero-​Gravity Massage Chairs, which our clients describe as «amazing», «out of this world» and a «must try». For further relaxation try our organic teas and a flavored Oxygen Bar!

Our Float Packages can be shared or kept for yourself, while our memberships automatically add a Float (or two) each month. The memberships don’t expire and provide discounts on other services and products.

History

Established in 2014.

After a bad car accident, Co-​Founder Matt was unable to walk for months. He suffered through metal plates in his body and found great difficultly managing pain with traditional medicine. It was this struggle that let him to search for an alternative to pharmaceutical drugs to help with his chronic pain.

On a vacation out west, Matt experienced Floatation Therapy for the first time, felt the benefits immediately, Floated again 2 days later, and began working on solving the problem of «why can’t I do this back home?»

Following conversations with Co-​Founder Trevor, who related with his trip to the Dead Sea, they began working on bringing the largest Float center in the Philadelphia area to the heart of West Chester, PA: East Coast Float Spa!

Its grand opening was in September, 2014, and with continually increasing demand, the East Coast Float Spa Team has grown consistently! Our whole team is passionate about Floating, and we look forward to sharing the amazing experience with you!

I studied psychology in college and discovered a new found interest in alternative therapies. It wasn’t until 2011 that first heard about Floatation Therapy and its benefits to both body and mind. I couldn’t wait to try it, and when I did, it was love at first Float.

Through meditation alone, I was unable to organically attain a feeling of deep relaxation. There is something so visceral about the practice of Floating. It brings us back to the core of ourselves, and serves as a reminder of what is truly important and what is not.

I also enjoy playing guitar and recording music, cooking, being outside as much as possible, and going on road trips.

I joined East Coast Float Spa in January 2015 at the West Chester location as the Float Spa Manager, and I’m excited to introduce Floating to everyone!
