Specialties
Our focus is on watershed conservation and environmental education. Over the course of the year, we hold many family friendly events such as a Polar Plunge, a Point-to-Point, clean ups of the Brandywine and Red Clay watersheds, and various music events. Summer camp is held each summer with over 400 children attending from across the region. We also own 775 acres of land, which is open to the public every day from dawn to dusk.
History
Established in 1945.
Brandywine Red Clay Alliance (BRC), born of a merger of Brandywine Valley Association and Red Clay Valley Association in 2015, has over 70 years of experience as your local leader in watershed conservation and environmental education. BRC will continue to reach out for clean-up volunteers, undertake improvements in both watersheds, turn more red streams blue, advocate with a stronger voice and educate school children throughout our districts.
