Had dinner last night with 4 others and it was awesome… the food was excellent, all 5 of us agreed and the pricing, very reasonable considering the salad and side is included in a very fair price for the entre. Most restaurants around here these day charge additional for the salad.. . another $ 6 – 8 on the entre charge! Gennaros does not. Our appetizers were delicious and the server was pleasant and very efficient. We meet about once every 6 weeks and think Gennaros will be our choice.

Ordered pick-​up: Had the risotto scampi (huge shrimp) and linguine w. clam sauce. They supplied small side salads and some bread. Both entrees were good portion sizes. Had a 10% off coupon. They were gracious in taking it. Food was ready in 10 – 15 minutes. Will be back again!

I always used to go to this place because they have amazing food but they don’t have ANY GF OPTIONS??? Sorry genneros you are losing out amongst the many restaurants who offer options. They had the BEST rice balls here ever when I could eat them. Pretty nice staff and very clean. The prices could be slightly lower.

I’ve had a range of meals. Every F’in one has been great.

I went there last night for a quick bite before a band practice and ordered a meatball parm sub. I’ve had much better. The meatballs were bland, loaded with breadcrumbs, and had a funny aftertaste. Not good at all, and possibly tainted. Later that night, I experienced some severe gastric distress, acid reflux and discomfort, so bad, I thought it was mild food poisoning. I’ll never go back.

Stopped in for dinner with my husband looking forward to a good Italian meal. I had a shrimp dish and my husband had veal. Both were decent but nothing to write home about. The sauce on the side order of pasta was very good. The service, however, was gruff and unprofessional. When we pointed out to the server that there was an error on our bill, he was more annoyed than apologetic. A few days later, I ordered a pizza to take home for dinner. I ordered the Grandma’s pie and when I got it home it was cold. soggy and extremely salty. If I had to guess, the pie must have been sitting since lunch time and re-​heated. It was actually so bad that I had to throw it away. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Came here for a family party today. I really enjoyed all the food. It was served family style and we were able have as much as we wanted. The service was excellent, all the servers were very polite. There is no alcohol, but you can bring your own. I wish I lived closer so I could come for their pizza which I hear is very good.

We have been ordering regularly from here because it is a step up from your typical pizzeria. The eggplant rollatini is awesome! You can’t go wrong with any of their meals. Also we have had their «famous» grandma pizza which is very good and goes a long way.
Minus one star because coupons only work for dine in and it is a bit pricey per entrée.
We did dine in here one time when it first opened and had a good experience. BYOB
Overall good food and I would recommend.

I eat here about twice a week and I keep going back because they have the best food at the best prices with excellent service. Waitresses Maria and Angela are very efficient and started greeting my friend I by name starting the second time we visited. The dining room outclasses Fortes with a warm atmosphere where you feel like you are at home or visiting family. Both the owner Tom and the chef Gennaro come by the tables to make sure customers are enjoying their dining experience. All dinners do come a salad again now and the size is perfect. We have catered family parties from Gennaro’s and everyone loves their food. Also, we love their Grandma’s pizza. Bravo! I posted this last week and the review was «filtered» out. Maybe this time it will stay.

Fortes move over. This establishment is casual yet maintains a sense of elegance, shorts and a t shirt, suit and tie… thats the beauty of Gennaro’s…elegantly unpretenious offered at it’s best! Food is creative, presented in nuvo fashion and alway delish. Pasta primavera in pink sauce is always a winner. Easy Parking in a big free lot in a nice area. Pizza is great (maybe not Fortes great but dam close. BYOB here. Ask for server Angie… patient and pleasing

The place has a really nice dining room for a pizza place. Felt warm and cozy. The manager was very attentive. Our waitress started out great but then she seemed to disappear for long periods. Other than that little problem, the food was really good. I had a very nice chicken special, and even the sauce on the accompanying pasta was really nice. The salad was a little skimpy; they could throw in a few more lettuce leaves. A little pricier than the BYOB that we normally go to, but we’ll come back.
Update– went back last night because we really enjoyed it last time. Again, it’s so cute and charming inside. This time our waitress was terrific. They are stingy with their bread, and we had to ask twice to get some butter. Here’s my big gripe: they no longer offer salad included with the entrée. Mind you, the salad was a few pieces of lettuce and one tomato slice, so it wasn’t costing them much. We like to food there, but this annoys me so much that I won’t go back. There are plenty of good BYOB Italian places where I can get a salad with my meal.

Went at 7:30 on a friday night, seated right away. The room was filled, but there were 3 tables open. It was loud from the moment we walked in. But the décor is nice and homey. One big room for dining on the right. On the left side is more casual. Waitress was great. Arugula and walnut salad very good. Margarita pizza good, very tasty crust.
$ 50 for 2 salads, pizza and tip. BYOB.

Halfway decent pizza. Would be better if they cooked the pizza a bit more consistent. One regular, one special slice and bottomless fountain soda $ 5 lunch special. Only down fall, they only have 4 specialty pies. Not much to pick from.

We went there last night for my son’s 11th birthday. The place was nice. Staff was friendly. 1st off… after we all got there and ordered our drinks, we then had to call the waitress back to order our apps… we had to wait a while and then she comes back to say she’ll take our order AFTER our apps get to the table. Well that never happened… our apps arrived and then 10 min later she comes by to take our order… but midway says… hold on and goes off to get something for another table… she comes back to finish taking our order… now we were not in a rush, but to take someones order AFTER the apps were brought to the table, eaten and cleared away… We had to always find someone to refill our drinks… and the food was just OK… not the best that we had, just ok… we will not be going back there anytime soon… they need to work on their service…

First off I will give it three stars and say its good. Décor is very nice! Very updated. Large seating area for dine in customers for lunch and dinner. Few booth and tables to the left to have a quick bite. I ordered to slices which were. Plain but very good. Good pizza you just know. I looked at the menu while having my quick lunch and would definitely return for dine in experience in the future. Offering specials by day of week. Very clean and looks like they have alot if pride. I am hoping to write a great review with high stars on my next review for dinner soon.

I find it amazing that the first review of this place gives it five stars, but the «reviewer» has never reviewed anything else on Unilocal.I was in there for a pizza yesterday, and my wife and I agreed it was not the best. The crust was hard (there’s a difference between «hard» and «crisp»), the sauce was bland, and the cheese didn’t seem to be of any discernible quality. If the same thought that went into the pizza goes into the rest of their menu, this place is in big trouble.
