We had a Baby Shower for my daughter. We ordered a cake for dessert and cookies for favors from Darby’s Bakery. I will always go to Darby’s from this day forward for any special occasion cake/pastry. Paige was extremely helpful in listening to our ideas about the cake and cookies and offered her expertise is the design of the cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful… and tasted SO good! Everyone at the shower commented on how delicious it was and wanted to know where the cake was bought! The cookies are also to die for! A great bakery with wonderful service! Darby’s deserves more than five stars!

I’ve been going to Darby’s since they opened. They have excellent breads except for the Rosemary which has gone down in quality the past 4⁄5 years. I don’t try their other baked goods very often as they are pretty much standard fare but, their breads, they are worth the trip.

Darby’s made our wedding cake and not only was it beautiful, it was VERY delicious. They were very helpful with getting the cake to the venue that morning so it didn’t have to sit in the fridge with the other food all night. They were very accommodating. They also make a killer mocha latte with almond milk if anyone was wondering ;)

I felt compelled to add to my review because the more we try from Darby’s, the more we like it. After reading another’s review, and being addicted to cinnamon rolls :-) I had to try Darby’s. FINALLY, after living in MA for 2 years, a cinnamon roll worth making a special trip to buy! Also, today we tried their Manicotti. Seriously, OMG! It was really good. We will continue to go fot the breads, and now have more to look forward to.

I’ve been going to the bakery for 15+ years. Best foccacia(sp?) and so many options for them. The girls who work in the front are always super helpful and will tell you all the different varieties. Its great to get your baked good then drive around the reservoir. I find consistency is so hard to find these days in restaurants and bakeries and Darby’s has never lost it. Love it!

The dinner rolls alone are worth the trip. I don’t know how they do it, but they are the most wonderful crusty, flakey, chewy perfect little rounds I’ve ever had — they make perfect little sandwiches or turn a bowl of soup into a meal. Buy them by the dozen or you’ll wish you had!

This little plaza has 3 total businesses, and each gets 5 stars. The bakery is spectacular. I think the best products they have are the breads, but I typically get roped into buying some Old Fashioned Lemon Squares(omg. get 3). It’s a smallish place, and in addition to the breads, rolls, and such, they sell great foccacia and pastries. It’s a smaller selection then gerardos, but I think the actual products are a little better. Best Bakery in WeBo.

My favorite bakery for years. Not only great bread(in countless varieties daily) and pastries, but their lattes and iced tea are among the best I’ve ever had. Amazingly good muffins too.

This is my favorite bakery. I highly recommend the chocolate croissants and cinnamon rolls– the best around! It is a very small, quaint place that my husband and I go to every Sunday to get goodies. My husband who is very picky about his coffee beverages says they have great espresso and I love their ice teas. In addition to being bakery they also have frozen homemade raviolis and sauces which are amazing. So adorable and good you have to check them out!

I’ve been to Darby’s a few times and I have to say, it’s a cute little gem near the quaint town center of West Boylston. So, I’ve sampled an old-fashioned lemon bar, a cookie, and a wonderfully decadent piece of chocolate cake here. On the more savory side, I’ve also had a spinach, feta, and tomato pizza-type item. All of these items were enjoyable and good for the price. The cupcakes are $ 3.50, which I think is a lot, so I haven’t tried one yet. The real deal here are the coffee drinks– a small latte(plenty for me) is $ 2.25. If I lived closer, I would get a latte here every day. The service here is very friendly. The one weird thing that happened to me here was when I asked someone behind the counter if all of their products were made on the premises. Apparently, some of the danishes and pastries are not, but she was kind of awkward about admitting this. Anyway, it’s a nice little independent bakery/coffee shop in West Boylston that deserves a try.

This place is walking distance to my childhood home, and I have to say I am very proud that it is. They have delicious chocolate croissants, great breads and focaccia that makes for a great lunch. They also have pretty good homemade pesto. This smells delicious inside as well. Everytime I return home I am sure to check it out.

I love Darby’s. LOVE. The word might not be strong enough. I started going to Darby’s when I was in college to get some great chocolate croissants for breakfast.(Yes, I was driving 10 miles to get them.) As time went on, I tried their rosemary bread(delicious!), various French breads, focaccia bread(the chicken BBQ one is gooood), and Italian bread. Everything I tried was excellent. The staff is so friendly and cheery and will describe the different breads to you. If you’re ever in the Worcester area, run over to Darby’s, it’s one great little bakery.
