Brazilian Wax, Bikini Waxing, Manzilian /​Boyzilian Wax, Male Waxing, Back Wax, Underarm Wax and Leg Wax are our most popular hair removal services.

Freaked out by pain? I use the finest wax, the best technique and, if that does not convince you, then try the deep numbing cream available (needs to be applied 40 minutes prior to the appointment).

Ingrowns? Bumps? Skin Smoothing products and treatments for the back or intimate areas are available for both men and women.

Always following the highest standards of hygiene, NO double dipping, sterile implements, clean linens combined with a great atmosphere and excellent customer service you can be sure that your hairy parts are in the safest and most caring hands.

Need to freshen up before your appointment? Make use of the newly added bidet with heated seat, warm water and heated dryer!

Strip and Rip Waxing Studio was born from the desire of the British esthetician affectionately known as The Wax Witch, to support deforestation one bush at a time. Strip & Rip Waxing Studio offers an upbeat, non-​stuffy un-​spa-​like atmosphere, with meticulous attention to detail, superior hygiene, customer satisfaction, discretion and of course, a bloody good waxing experience!

Today was my 2nd trip to Strip & Rip, and I can’t say enough GREAT things about this place and the ladies who work here! My first visit was with Laura, who was incredibly sweet, welcoming, calming and professional. This was the most comfortable, long lasting, thorough, and, dare I say… relaxing…Brazilian I’ve ever had! Today I saw Hannah who was equally as wonderful. Same great results as well!
Everything about this place is welcoming, friendly and awesome… the discrete location, the calming décor & music and let’s not forget the bidet! They make you feel like a million bucks from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. I very highly recommend this place!

You MUST get waxed here!!! I wish I could give this place better than five stars! My appointment was for a Brazilian with Hannah and it has been the best waxing job I’ve ever gotten. Hannah is an absolute gem and makes the experience not the least bit awkward. They use chocolate wax which is MUCH less painful than the wax I’ve had used on me in other salons. I am so glad I found this place. They found a long-​term customer!

I am literally obsessed with Hannah! After my favorite esthetician for the last few year retired, I was at loss. I tried to other woman at the spa where I was going before, but I was never satisfied with the results. Then after a long overdue Unilocal search, I found Strip & Rip and Hannah entered my life!
She is sweet, funny, and talented at her craft. I only saw her for brows until my last apt before moving to California. Having anyone all up in your lady parts is awkward to say the least, but Hannah knows how to put you ease and make you feel like it’s totally normal to rip out hairs with chocolate scented wax! I am going to miss her crafting brow perfection on my face every other week! She’s the only one I’ll go to anytime I’m back in Michigan.

Had my first waxing 10÷07÷15 and couldn’t be happier with the professional approach and attitude! It’s not everyday you have someone in your *business* besides your significant other.. Having a stranger all up in your business can be a bit intimidating (amiright!?), however if the ethereal being known as Hannah is maintaining your lady parts– well, life’s good.
Hannah is super easy to get along with, she will chat right through your appointment and she skilfully avoids any awkward moments. That’s an art, considering the compromising nature of some of the positions you will find yourself in (ha!).
Waxing any part of your body can be daunting — let alone *that* part. Trust me (and all the other reviewers) when I say that this chocolate wax really is the bomb. It seriously does not hurt.
I am very OCD about my eyebrows and so I do my own, but the flawless results with the other service make me totally trust this studio with my face as well.

It’s clean and the ladies are extremely knowledgeable of waxing. I was looking high and low for a good waxing place. My eyebrows were getting to thin with my past lady and I wanted someone who could deliver consistent results. It takes a minute to get an appointment but once you’re in you’re in.

I needed a last minute underarm wax. And the place I usually go to was booked. Thanks to Unilocal I found this hidden gem!
They gave me an appointment for the next day in the morning which was so convenient for me.
This place is clean and cozy. And inviting!
The wax was so quick (less than 10 minutes) and Hannah was very professional. The receptionist was helpful as well.
Oh and the Chocolate Wax was painless!
This is my back up place in case my usual place cannot take me.

I can’t say enough good things about this business. The office is clean and the owner is dedicated to making her customers completely satisfied with wonderful service.
I came in twice before I had my baby, since I couldn’t keep myself tidy anymore with a huge belly in the way. The wax witch made me feel so comfortable (as comfortable as you can possibly feel with your pants off and legs open in front of a stranger) and was super quick about it.
I’ve had brazilians in the past that just hurt terribly. She really made is as pain free as possible. Still pain, but nothing that I’ve experienced before. She was quick too! 25 minutes and I was done! I remember it taking upwards of an hour in the past when I got it done at other places.
The wax witch has earned her title, and definitely knows what she’s doing. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Was looking for someone good since moving back here from San Diego, and I am thankful I did not have to look very far. Maybe the most important Unilocal reviews you’ll ever read are the ones that help you find someone to take care of your precious lady or man parts. I trust the Wax Witch 100%! She really does an incredible job at making you feel at ease, guiding you through breathing through the more painful parts of the wax, and being quick and efficient.
Her studio is lovely. It is really great and she even has a fancy bidet in the restroom. You can use it to clean up before or after the wax. Also some helpful products for sale but she doesn’t push them on you.
The pricing is so reasonable here and for such a high quality job in a professional environment. Another bonus, Laura is incredibly personable and fun to talk to.
I’m thankful I took the time to search Unilocal for the right person for this very personal service. I hope this review helps lead people in the right direction to the wax witch as well!!!

Super nice receptionist was able to squeeze me in at the last minute. This place is regularly booked 1 – 2 weeks out because the technique is awesome. I got the chocolate wax and it was pretty cool. It was less painful and quicker than sugar or wax but she left a little bit behind and was gone before I could ask her to fix it – I didn’t like that.
I also didn’t like how she advertised the chocolate hair removal product as *all natural* but didn’t know the ingredients. To me, knowing what’s in the product you’re pushing is critical.
Regardless of my negative two comments, I’d HIGHLY recommend this place… If you can get in. It’s less painful, less expensive and less of a cleanup process.

Most waxing places in this area go in one of two directions:
1) Charging way too much for a mediocre wax
2) A cheap price for a cheap wax
The wax witch, however, really knows what she’s doing — and the price is incredibly reasonable. Laura gives an amazing Brazilian wax experience, starting with the décor when you walk in, and ending with smooth and flawless skin for a long, long time!

I just had to take a moment and update my review. Not that I need to because Laura is still awesome! But I love the recent décor she has added. It truly has become a very soothing and relaxing place.
I really enjoy coming here. Laura and her staff are just delightful!
If you have never received a body wax this place is a great place to start.
If you are a first timer… take a pain pill 30 minutes before your service. It helps a lot.

By far the most amazing Brazilian I’ve ever gotten. I’m originally from California (the land of Brazilians it seems like sometimes ^ ^), but nothing can hold a candle to the wax witch. You’ll really notice the difference in a few ways:
1. Laura takes the time to makes sure hair is removed in the right direction so hair is removed and not broken off
2. the results last a lot longer than many other waxes I’ve gotten before (because she’s REMOVING not BREAKING)
3. the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable — Laura is great to talk to (you can talk to her about anything! family, kids, politics, current events, etc.) and everything in the studio is well-​maintained
4. the price is literally the best I’ve ever seen so you’re getting the BEST service for the BEST price
on convenience note — you can schedule appointments by text message if you so desire
this is just me, but I’m really glad Strip & Rip is local and not part of a larger national company (a la European Wax Center), I think its important to support local business!

I’ve had a bad experience at a sugaring/​waxing studio before, but this was quick and low discomfort.
The studio itself was tucked away in a little medical plaza, but don’t be fooled. It’s very cute inside and clean! She took special care not to double dip and keep everything comfotable and sterile. I appreciated the level of detail she went to and the fact that she was so eager to answer any questions I had.
I never thought I’d say it was a pleasure to get both of my legs waxed, but the Wax Witch left me with smooth legs and a great experience. I’ll be back for sure.
