Horrible shellac!!! Bubbles as it was being done. Also I asked if there is an exact OPI color to match my toes, the incompetent staff clearly cannot decipher the difference between pink and purple. Asked for just shellac polish and toe polish change was charged $ 45-According to menu it’s $ 30…after I tipped and realized, I asked the owner he brushed it off and said I wasn’t taking care of you and the guy already left, like a thief. There are plenty of places in the area… don’t waste your time here. If I want leaving town within a few hours I would have fought the overcharges and made them redo everything!

I love excel nails. i’ve been coming here for almost a year, I’m happy with their jobs. I got shellac for my nails and it always last until I come back. They have lots of color that you can choose. This is my shellac after 2 weeks

I came here many years ago when shellac first came out. They did a horrible job and didn’t seal it so it lifted like 3 days later. I returned to have it fixed and was told shellac isn’t for everyone it can only last a week and I shouldn’t get it again. Never again.

I have been coming to excel for years. I would highly recommend going to Lily or the owner Peter. They are great and they don’t take too long. The wait there is usually long & a mani-pedicure could take up 3 hours of your time. They have many colors and options to choose from… Even with the shellac Colors. They could be a bit pricey at times(depending on the service done that day)(removal of shellac) etc.

I’m a stay-at-home mom I don’t get to go out very much a treat myself so my husband treated me to a Mani/pedi here on Mother’s Day. We called that morning to make an appointment for 3:30 I got there right at 3:30 and they said it would be another 15 minutes I waited another 40 minutes until they actually started. The girl rushed through it and was very very rough, to the point where it was very uncomfortable and sometimes painful. The Mani/pedi polish was done very sloppily, none of the corners/sides were done or even came close to the cuticles. I do a better job myself at home. I was asked to pay and tip before my nails were even started. Being asked to pay before being finished is pretty standard that way don’t mess your nails up but I prefer to tip afterwards based on how well it’s done. Also the tub was not thoroughly cleaned out and disinfected before she started on my toes. I would not recommend this place nor would I ever return.

Been getting my nails done at Excel for a year. I only go there because it’s close to my house. Tonight I stopped by and was outraged by the disappointing customer service. Never mind the usual rudeness, the chatter in a different language, and how badly they shape my nails, this time I walked in 45 minutes before closing for a manicure. There was one technician available playing on her phone. Three others were busy with customers or clean up. The place had two customers. No one greeted me, so I went ahead and picked the nail polish I wanted. After 5 minutes, I was asked what I needed done. The technician that wasn’t helping anyone continued to play on her phone, while I waited for another technician to finish up with his customer. Naturally, the owner wasn’t there to see this and I doubt that he would have done anything. Need to find a new place.

I went to get a mani here on a Friday after work so I expected a wait. Surprisingly, they took me as soon as I picked a color. I just wanted a regular mani so I thought I would be in and out and early to meet my friend for dinner across the street… was I wrong! A girl next to me got shellac, she left, then anther woman came in for silk wraps… and they were out before me! The man who did my nails did a good job and the price wasn’t bad($ 14) but they started chipping in a few days!

I’m a long time customer at Excel up until my last encounter, I took my friend from out of town to get her nails done. We walked in the owner Peter asked us what we were having done and we said fill ins. So he said«choose a color» as we were looking at the variety of colors, the technician lady in a rude voice said«Im ready for you» so I turned to her and said«we are still looking» the tech lady got up from her table and went and sat in the pedi chair playing on her phone, so after choosing are colors I went up to the girl who always does my nails and asked if my friend and I can sit next to each other, so my lady asked the other tech who was waiting for us, if she wouldnt mind working on a table side by side, the lady looked up at us with her eyebrows up and said«NOPE I wont move» so I got upset put the polish down and said no problem I dont need your services. The owner watching the whole thing happen didn’t say one word, allowed me to walk out, after all the years I have been going there.

Decided to go here one day after work. It was great for a cheap($ 13) manicure. I’d go back.

I have been getting my nails done at Excel for years and they are the best for their buck. You do not need an appointment and they always have the newest selection of O.P.I. and Essie. Manicures cost only 12 dollars and you can get a mani/pedi for $ 35.

I came in for mani and pedi on a weekday around 3ish. The three stars are for these: First, I didn’t have to wait even though I just walked in. Second, the massage chairs were comfortable while I’m getting the pedicure. Third, the facility is clean. The two stars that’s missing is for: I didn’t like the nail design that the person did maybe because he was not really the one who is in charge for doing the designs. I guess the other person was a little bit busy so she couldn’t do it. Second, the price is quite expensive. for the mani and pedi plus design $ 55. Another minus was the person that was doing the mani and pedi was a little bit rude. No smile throughout the service! ^_^ Anyway, that’s why I rated the facility with only 3 stars which is aahh. ok!
