Encompass HealthCare & Wound Medicine is an outpatient facility featuring advanced wound care, I.V. antibiotic therapies, hyperbaric oxygen treatments, stem cell and artificial skin grafts; wound debridement and wound vacuum systems; complete nutritional assessments, and traditional Chinese medicine.

Bruce E. Ruben M.D. is the Medical Director at Encompass HealthCare. He is triple-​board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease and in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. In Encompass HealthCare, Dr. Ruben has created a barrier-​free outpatient center where patients can be treated with compassion and dignity but without the health risks and bureaucracies associated with hospital care. Encompass HealthCare was built to accommodate quadriplegic, paraplegic and wheelchair/​disabled patients. It features automated door entries, extra-​wide hallways, 4-​foot-​tall countertops and coat hooks; a roll-​in shower, a lift system, off-​loading exam tables and a gurney.
