Dr. Michael Gray and Skindeep Spa

Waited over an hour to see the Dr. The staff seemed annoyed that I was annoyed. Mind you I was on time for my appointment. This was a checkup/​new consultation and I have to say even being a repeat patient I will now look for a different dr.

I would give 0 stars if possible. This doctor does not care about his patients. He pumps a fortune into advertising so that he can prey on those who don’t know any better to check the internet for all of his bad reviews.

All Dr. Michael Gray cares about is MONEY — QUANTITY over quality.
1) Michael Gray is NOT Board Certified
2) HE IS NOT A GYNECOLOGIST (for my case)
Choosing him to do my labiaplasty was the worst mistake of my life! He gave me a very cheap price, 3 times less than what experienced doctors gave me and what my insurance was covering if I did it with my gynecologist so I fell for it. Labiaplasty is a very hard surgery to have, you need time off from work, you need people around to help you for the first week/​two and you can’t walk normal till the ⁴⁄₅^th week, 6 weeks in recovery-​basically you are wasting month and a half of your life for this surgery. Michael Gray did not even look at me to tell me exactly what he was going to do during the consultation, I mean don’t sign up for a surgery saying all this crap on your website if you are not comfortable to look at the area and mark exactly what you are going to do like real gynecologist do! He only said «I don’t need to look at the area because I know what to do everybody is the same». That was a sign that he has no idea what he is doing and no women is the same down there! Since I was struggling with money at the time and I was in a rush because I had a couple of days off from work I decided to have the surgery. I had a surgery in Nov 2013 and that’s when my life turned into a nightmare. I got what I paid for! He did not cut the labia even and he left me with a hole on my left labia. I wish this surgery was not embarrassing to me otherwise I would’ve sue him! 6 weeks after the surgery I went for a consultation… HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT ME!!! He does not care about his patients! You are just another number for Dr. Michael Gray so he can claim that he has experience. Why do you think he does so much advertising on the radio and on the web? You can’t even google one surgical procedure without him showing up on the top.
Year and 3 months later, and 3 surgeries after, my left labia is finally attached together (feel free to email me if you want info of the doctor who was able to fix the mess that dr. michael gray left me with) and I’m so happy that I can have a normal life again! It was the worst year and 3 months of my life, I wasted my time and money, I wasted year and 3 months of my life on this! I was turned down by doctors because they all feared of amputation of my labia i was told that it’s impossible to fix what dr Michael gray did to me. I completely lost hope. After my 3^rd surgery god worked a miracle for me. That’s why I’m writing this review! If I help at least one person not to make the same mistake as many of us have I will be happy!
P. S. Another reason why I decided to write this review is because my doctor told me that he has another patient that came from dr Michael Gray that needs a revision.

Extremely high prices for a Doctor who is NOT BOARD CERTIFIED in plastic surgery! Went in for consultation on a BBL and was quoted nearly $ 2000 higher than the other 2 Surgeons I consulted with. I really love the BBL work Dr Gray does, and I am upset that he would charge so much more than other doctors. Especially since he has so many negative reviews, you would think he would want to try to read some of the comments and improve his business.

LOVE Chanel at the front she handles all of my appointments. I’ve been going here for a while and I have been to many plastic surgeons/​dermatologist. They are by far my favorite. The owner of the spa is so nice and sweet. Wonderful people and they get the job done :)

Love this place! Luxurious décor, very informed staff. I enjoy my regular facial with Angela, she is AWESOME. Thanks to her, my skin is looking amazing. She always has some helpful info in the skin care department, despite my vast knowledge. She is very friendly and comes off as 100% genuine and down to earth. Every time I have been in, she offers me a discount on a new service in the event I want to try it. I never feel pressured to purchase services or products, although I usually want to. They have some great skincare lines here, all medical grade. This means that instead of wasting $ 150 on a jar of useless cream at the mall, you will get a product that delivers results. Thank you Skin Deep, and Angela for curing me of the constant breakouts, and my fine lines! I highly reccomend this spa to anyone who is tired of searching for the answer to their skin care issues. I find the pricing here to be extremely reasonable, competitive even.
