Paris Bakery

They did a beautiful job on my daughters first birthday cake! They did exactly what I asked.
The price is very reasonable,
They quoted me much less then everywhere.
The whole party was talking about how delicious the cake was the entire time.

Got our wedding cake here. Asked for marbled, got yellow and it was dry. The fondant and was way too thick and gummy. It looked nice tho.

Yes this place is called «Paris» and NO there is nothing french in it.
The cookies are the type made in a factory far away and shipped in. Waxy chocolate covered stale butter cookie. I was sad. :(
They seem to a he a large collection of Arabic candy tins?

Bonjour, Je voudrais croissant aux amandes? No? Je voudrais brioche au kerish (sp?)? No? The sign outside did say Paris Bakery right? Maybe I walked into the wrong store. Nope, it’s the right one, just a limited selection of French pastries.
When you walk in, the showcases are on either side of you with a counter at the end in the middle about twenty feet deep, basically a U-​Shape. All the pastries on your left look like decent pastries, many though I were surprised to be in a french bakery such as a large selection of cannoli, they are Italian (Sicilian), why are they here? Ok, moving along, the showcases on my right have baklava, ahhhmmmm, they are common in the Middle Eastern regions and also from Greece, hence why are they here?
Wait, where are the french pastries? So I ask… I would like an almond croissant, I get this blank look, but I do get an answer of sorry, we don’t have any. Now I ask for the brioche au kerish (sp?), now the blank looks remains for several seconds with this shake of the head that meant, I don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s my cue to leave.
