A DJ and business owner since 1995, Nick Koleas, TheHitManDJ.com’s owner, has performed at over 2,500 events and entertained hundreds of thousands of people.

Nick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-​Milwaukee. He worked for Fidelity National Information Services from 2009 – 2013. He worked as an account executive, working

with community banks up to $ 1 Billion in assets. He was then laid-​off in March 2013.

After a job search that always seemed on the brink of something but never quite got there, Nick found himself at a crossroads. «Go back to your roots… Do what you’re good at.» Mom really DOES know best. The idea was hatched in late April, and by early June 2013, The​Hit​ManDJ​.com was open for business. «It took four years of working in the corporate world, for an industry-​leading, Fortune 500 company to realize that I wasn’t in the right situation, no matter how badly I wanted it to be the right situation.

I was born a small-​business guy. Connecting with people on a one-​to-​one level, understanding their needs, and providing solutions for their needs is what makes me tick.»
