History
Established in 2007.
Wines for Humanity was established in 2007 by Anton Steinhart, former President of PRP Wines. Anton wanted to find a way to use his passion for wines to prevent homelessness in families with children. After careful thought, he came up with a way to use direct marketing and the party plan concept to do just that!
Just 5 short years later, Wines for Humanity has contributed more than $ 1,000,000.00 to charities in local communities — The communities where Wine Advisors live and work. Tampa Bay Area non-profits are lucky to be located in a growing Wines for Humanity area.

Business Owner
Lee Ann Carr started Wines for Humanity-Tampa Bay Area in October of 2011. Although she does not have a background in direct selling or the party plan business, she has previous experience as a business owner and a heart for the non-profit world. Lee Ann loves wine and decided that Wines for Humanity offered the best opportunity to earn an income while helping non-profits in her own community.
With several years of experience as a Chamber of Commerce Executive, Lee Ann believes in supporting local business and buying locally, when it makes sense.
Lee Ann says «I was recently asked why I supported the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County. Homelessness in our community is a growing problem with almost 18,000 people in homelessness in Hillsborough County alone. This number includes Veteran’s and families with children. These families face unimaginable difficulties and cannot be helped in other ways until those needs are met.
