History

Established in 1983.

The practice was opened originally in 1983, Dr. Heidi Goss purchased it in 1994 and has been the primary veterinarian since. We proudly became AAHA accredited in 1998, and under go strict evaluations every 3 years to maintain that high status of being AAHA accredited. Only 10% of the animal hospitals in the United States are AAHA accredited. We are proud to be one of them.

Our visit to Quail Hollow was the second time we had been there. We had a check up for our little shihtzu Mocha Coconut, and also I noticed he had some scabs on his forehead. He had banged on his crate and had two big spots.
We met first with the vet tech, and she asked us about our questions and concerns regarding Mocha. She was nice.
Afterwards we met with Dr. Caroline Aparicio. I could tell right away that Mocha was comfortable with her. He went right to her. He is always anxious when it comes to the vet, but this time he was more at ease with her. She answered our questions and was very gentle and loving with him. I appreciate her and her knowledge. She made us also feel at ease.
I had gone on the Wesley Chapel FB community board. There were many positives they gave for Quail Hollow. Many also said they are quite pricey, but definitely worth it.

Very experienced and compassionate doctors. They are very patient and knowledgeable with animals and over-​bearing pet owners like myself. Their front desk staff sometimes seems a little scattered, but they always make things right.

Vet is super sweet and smart, but they are always running late. Always expect to wait at least 45 minutes whenever you come here. Not cool.

Took my toy poodle here for vet services since I get her groomed here.
I was very disappointed with the price gouging.
I signed a paper stating my appt would cost $ 130.
Despite the vet telling me my pup is healthy and doing great, they decided to give me a couple items that are supposively good for her joints (price was not discussed).
Ending total=$ 240!
So not only have they lost my business for vet services, I won’t be coming back for grooming either.

I can not express how much I love this animal hospital. I was referred by a friend to Dr Goss and I think she is wonderful. I can honestly say I didn’t follow up with vet care as I should have but now I am back on track. I have had nothing but great experiences each time I have gone (and trust me lately its been a lot) with the office manager, vet techs and the secretaries. My dog is doing great after surgery. The office is clean. I will continue my vet care here and recommend them highly to anyone in need!

Worst groomer I ever gone to.
They have no idea how to groom a dog.
I took my Bichon with a picture that I wanted her to look like.
I asked the groomer to do anal glands and plucking her ears and they told me to pay extra money for that.
It says its a full grooming but it wasn’t.
Their skills are so unprofessional that it gets me frustrated.
When I went to pick up my Bichon, She looked worse than before she got groomed. They just shaved all her body that i did not ask for. Look completely different from the picture i brought in.
I was so disappointed at their skills they have.
I asked my money back but they were saying that they can’t because MY DOG looked just fine for them. it was very unpleasant and stupid for them to tell me what they think.
All it matter is how the owner like or dislike the haircut. Not groomers or staff who worked there.
They also left the tails untouched
They shaved my dog and left the tails that is so long and hairy
You can trim your own dogs and they will look so much better than the groomers over there do.

I thought these people cared about their clients and animals more than the profit they could make but I was recently proven wrong. I have spent thousands of dollars on my pet at Quail Hollow Animal Hospital over the years, yet when a dog rescue group called there to verify my pet was up to date on his vaccines, the vet’s office staff lied and told the rescue group he wasn’t up to date, even though they had the current paperwork in his chart. When I spoke to the office manager she basically told me I didn’t get his shots done there or ever purchased heartworm prevention there, and that’s why they told the rescue group he wasn’t up to date.
There aren’t any good vet offices left in the New Tampa area. I’ve heard and read good things about Kindness Animal Hospital (on Nebraska Ave.) and will give them a try… although they’re much farther away.
Dr. Tanner and Dr. Goss are good vets but the office management just made them lose a client.

This was a good place to bring a dog or a cat. I don’t recommend bring a reptile or exotic here. They are not very knowledgeable about the reps. I picked up some false information from this place and I will never be back, no matter how much they may know about dogs or cats.
