Have been to this location on several occasions and the staff is always attentive and ready to serve you. It is a newer location and the games always work, and if for some reason tickets don’t dispense there is an attendant right there to assist you and always give you more tickets than you originally won. The food is actually way better than expected, The pizza is always fresh and better than some pizza places I have been to. The location is smaller than some of the others I have been to but this place has always been clean, machines always working, and the staff always helpful. I go a few times a month with my 2 year old daughter usually during the week in the morning and I would definitely recommend.

I booked my daughters birthday party here and decided to go yesterday to check out the place beforehand. I hadn’t been to this new location before, but I thought that it was a new location so it would be clean and lots of fun. It was mid-afternoon on a random Thursday when we went and it looked to be moderately busy, but not too busy. I was immediately surprised with the size and how small it was. Also there’s no ball pit or jungle gym like I remember at other centers. I know it’s probably because people don’t put those in anymore, but still it’s what I remember the most when I went to Chuck E. Cheese’s when I was a kid. It’s mostly a game room, with a small bumper car attraction(with no one at/in it), a birthday area, and the food area. For how busy it was(not very), I was surprised to see ALL of the tables were dirty and the salad bar, while it looked appetizing, it was also a mess with various ingredients all over the counter and the floor. The bathrooms were okay, brightly lit and clean. The one thing about Chuck E. Cheese’s that I don’t get is why they have all the birthdays jammed together in the same area. For the amount of money that my reservation was for, you’d think you’d get a room, but no. All of the tables were right next to each other with barely enough room to walk between. But kids are kids, they don’t care about that. So it was a minor thing on my mental checklist that I was going through. I didn’t try any food so I can’t comment on that, but it looked alright. The prices seemed steep, but what can you expect. We got ourselves a bunch of tokens and went about playing games, trying them out. I like that the games are all modern, fun, and engaging games. I also like that they are all only one token. That makes it so much easier than when you give a child X amount of tokens and they spend it on games that take 3 – 4 tokens, they burn through them very quickly. Overall the games were pretty fun, though half a dozen of them required me tracking down the game attendant to fix the ticket mech or not recognizing tokens. Can’t really fault the games since the kids are playing them nonstop, however it was still an annoyance. Ticket payout was crazy low, with many games only giving one or two tickets. Some games payed out a lot though. I was happily surprised at the selection at their redemption counter, but the high prices of some of the most basic stuff was a bit silly. Having worked in family entertainment for many years myself, I know that Saturdays can be hectic as they are the main day for birthday parties. The party I planned for my daughter was scheduled for 10AM on a Saturday, but I was not sure between that time and 12:30. I asked an employee what it was like on a Saturday morning typically and without hesitation he told me that it was very crazy. I appreciated his honesty. The store was moderately busy when I went and I saw the things I did(oh and some kid stole tickets from us when he thought we weren’t looking, but that’s not the point), I was a little worried about what a Saturday morning would be like. Ultimately, the very crazy comment was the straw that broke the camels back and led me to cancel the reservation this morning, forfeiting my deposit(shame on me for not going BEFORE booking), but I believe that I will get a better deal elsewhere and the kids will have a blast. It’s a brand new facility, and a very nice one, but it was overall a disappointing experience for us, and sadly most likely we won’t return. Lastly, I want to say that the staff were very friendly and attentive and did a great job. I did see them cleaning when they had downtime, especially the young lady at the entrance. I didn’t have any interaction with management so I can’t comment on that, but the staff were professional, in appearance and behavior.

Today we had my sons birthday party at the new Chuck E. Cheese in the Groves/Wesley Chapel. I have to say they did a fantastic job! I love this location! It is clean, the machines work great! You can always easily Find someone to help you. I have always stayed away from Chuck E Cheese because in my past experience they have been dirty, half of the machines broke, ate my tokens or didn’t produce tickets.(such as the Carrollwood location). I am very pleased with Wesley Chapel and will return as a regular customer. The salad bar shocked me with their fresh ingredients and again clean area. I even ate there and enjoyed it!!! Thanks for a great day and we will be back!
