St. Paul’s Lutheran is the oldest Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Church west of the Mississipppi. When you go there, ask when it was built to get the story. The old Pfeiffer organ is a landmark. It was almost destroyed in the 1960’s by newcomers set on «modernizing» the church. Luckly, saner heads prevaild and it remains. The church building is Missouri limestone in built in the German style. The old fashioned church«suppers» or dinners/lunches are great.
