IHOP

Wow, these ceiling squares need to be replaced STAT. Many of them with water marks. This is a quick, easy fix, so unsure of why it hasn’t been done. With the rest of the place being relatively clean, these tiles REALLY stand out! My veggie omelet was good and service by our waitress, Sara, was very good. Little bit of a wait to be seated, but not more than 10 min.

This would get four stars except the place still allows smoking, and several times I’ve been here we get some teenage waitress who just doesn’t seem to care at all. Other than that the food is usually very good and no other problems.

Not even worth 1 star, but had to use it to rate this. Waited forever for seat. Once seated, food took forever. Larger groups seated after us were served first. Waitress seemed bothered and annoyed. Three out of four orders were wrong. My husbands food was still frozen! Highly recommend Dennys down the road on I 70 instead. Skip this IHOP.

It was Saturday morning there was a small wait to groups ahead of myself and my husband it was less than 10 minutes which is not bad it’s Saturday I understand they’re busy however an older man walked in and was greeted as a regular. My husband and I were still waiting to be seated the older man he said he had three and was sat right away but myself and my husband are still waiting. Once we were sat the waitress was semi-​friendly, the roof was leaking on the table across from us and it was a horrible horrible breakfast. Friendly waitress! Took her recommendation of rasberry white chocolate chip pancakes. Not disappointed. Also hostess never let me run out of pepsi. A little slow in the kitchen but worth the wait.

When we arrived the girl wiping the glass on the doors couldn’t be bothered to move so we could get inside. We waited at our table for about five minutes when a bored looking waitress finally came by and took our drinks. She forgot one of our waters and walked away before we could correct her. We sat with empty glasses for about 10 minutes she didn’t even walk by. We left money on the table and left. We’ll never be back. If you want breakfast food just go to Sunny Side café on the other side of the highway.

My wife and I met the in laws here for breakfast even though it was busy. We were sat within 15 mins and our food only took 10 – 15 mins to get out after ordering. The food was pretty good for an IHOP. Bob Evans is our usual breakfast place, but I’ll be back for the chicken and waffles!

The hostess could be friendlier. There were two women up front and both were not very friendly. The food took a little too long to come. Our waitress was ok. She didn’t come often enough to check on us. My husband was quite disappointed he didn’t get a refill on his juice. The portions were too big. The food wasn’t bad but I have had better.

We go to the I Hop in Chesterfield all of the time and the food and service is always consistently great. We went to the Wentzville location and the food and service was terrible. Starting with the 2 scowling hostesses and the front desk. We all got pancakes and you could not even cut them with a knife. They took forever to get us our food so we did not wait to have them remake our order. Here is what I find troubling. The waiter said he would talk to the manager. When he came back he said the manager would take $ 6 off our check. If you have a good manager they should always address any customer issues in person. Plus our waiter was a total stick in the mud.
