Harris Automotive & Tire

Took a recently purchased used car in for front end alignment. All the symptoms that existed prior to the alignment have disappeared. I’ve been going to Harris since I moved to Wentzville and a neighbor recommended them. I trust them and they earn that trust every visit.

Today I had a scary situation on highway 70. My car began to overheat so I pulled over and immediately began to panic (like most girls my age would do). After calling my dad and boyfriend to figure out possible causes for the breakdown I googled mechanics in wentzville. Being that I was freezing and crabby I called the first result that came up on the search. The gentlemen at Harris automotive and tire were so so helpful and kind. They got a tow truck out to me within ten minutes of me calling. I didn’t catch the mans name who picked me up but he was more than helpful. He opened the door for me and helped me into the truck. Once we got to the shop all of the guys were great! They let me know everything that was going on and didn’t take advantage of me or my lack of car knowledge. Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious and I was in and out of there in about half an hour. I could not thank these guys enough! I will recommend them to everyone I know. Seriously the service is top notch! Thank you so much!!!

We made our first visit here about a year ago, based on a referral from a local. Since then, I’ve brought my cars here for service work, on a regular basis. They seem to be reasonably fair, and are pleasant to deal with. The cars are generally done when they say they will be. They aren’t super aggressive about trying to upsell me on stuff, or don’t seem to be anxious to find stuff to bill for. On my most recent visit, they installed an oxygen sensor that proved to be faulty, and were very quick to order a replacement, reinstall, and retest with as little waiting as possible (for what they could control … obviously, the part is outside of their control). We’ll continue to send our business here.
