Smooth Ride is a privately owned and operated driving school that opened in 2009 and is an approved state testing facility located in Wenatchee, WA. We have a passion for working with Teenagers and helping them to learn Traffic Safety seemed like a good fit. We offer traffic safety education to both teens and adults and have a fully qualified program that is certified by the Washington State Department of Licensing.

All instructors employed by the school are qualified and licensed by the State of Washington to teach Traffic Safety Education in the classroom, and behind the wheel. Our instructors also regularly attend conferences and workshops to guarantee that we keep up to date on all new traffic laws, and to find new and exciting ways to teach our new drivers how to drive safely.

Business Owner

Certified Master Examiner — Certified Instructor: our owner enjoys working with youths, especially when they have the «aha» moments about knowledge. Nancy has worked with youths as a Chemical Dependency councilor and a Juvenile Rehab councilor. Nancy completed Traffic Safety Education training at Central Washington University and was licensed and qualified by the state of Washington to offer behind the wheel and in classroom training of teens and adults. In late 2012 when the DOL began outsourcing state testing, she also became licensed by the state of Washington to offer both the written and skill testing as a state examiner. In 2014, Nancy qualified as a certified master examiner for Washington State, and is now capable of training new examiners on behalf of the Washington Department of Licensing.
