Established in 2005.

Founded by Marcel Fairbairn, a veteran of the lighting industry, and Gavin Cooper, who relocated to the USA from a UK based LED manufacturer, LED Source® is an international company that lives and breathes LED lighting. We offer full support, project management, product development, design and engineering, financing and single point of contact for multi-​unit accounts. We help our client to save money by lowering maintenance and electricity costs, while improving their lighting.

LED Source® represents and works with only the industry’s top LED lighting manufacturers, including Hubbell, Philips, Nora, MaxLite, Halco, Lunera, eFFINION, Philips Color Kinetics and more.

Business Owner

Mr. Fairbairn is the visionary behind the company and combined with his entrepreneurial thinking, keeps LED Source looking ahead. A 20-​year veteran of the entertainment lighting industry, he founded LED Source in 2005 with his business partner Gavin Cooper. Marcel has previously held executive roles with various prominent entertainment lighting manufacturers including Martin and High End Systems. In 2002, he founded GearSource, the top destination for buyers and sellers of entertainment production inventory. That same year he founded AVR USA in partnership with UK manufacturer, AVR Lighting, who was an early producer of LED lighting products.
