History

Established in 1985.

Started in 1985 by Chuck Grove and his family, the business now services over 800 pools in the area and have resurfaced hundreds of pool. We have 9 family members that work at Horizon including Chuck’s three grandsons. We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity and are thankful for the many customers who happily consider Horizon their hometown pool company.

Business Owner

Chuck Grove, owner of Horizon Pool and Patio Inc., started the business in 1985. Under his leadership, the company has grown from 2 employees to 28. Originally maintaining 15 pools, Horizon now services nearly 900 pools and employs 3 full time repair technicians. Chuck takes pride in personally overseeing all resurfacing jobs, and is very proud that three generations of his family are now involved in the business.

We have relied on Joe and Horizon for many years. Always accessible and willing to help at a moment’s notice. Fair price and always watchful for anything that may lead to bigger problems, if not taken care of. Have had other services in the past, but none more fair-​priced and reliable as Horizon.

Unfortunately its not possible to enter 0 stars but I would caution anyone against using this company.
I could not possibly be more disgusted by the lack of quality work which I am having remediated now by a professional. On top of that, the owner (Chuck) increased the price and refused to honor his word and a verbal agreement.
If you want quality work done by an honest company then look elsewhere… I wish I had…

Great family owned business. Been around for over 25 years. Completely trustworthy and honest and they really know their stuff. Pool store, weekly service, repairs and resurfacing. Wouldn’t use anyone else

I have never written a review in my life until now. I felt compelled to warn other floridians about this terrible company. I live in royal palm and have had a leak in my pool since August, it is now almost December and I have called horizon over 20 times and my leak is still not fixed! They have come out to my house several times and partially fixed the job, then when I call them to come back they don’t. This company is so unprofessional I would give them zero stars if I could. They are unreliable and don’t finish what they start. If you want fast service and reliability then DONT call horizon pools, save your phone battery! This place is a joke, and my pool is still leaking!

Horizon has been my pool company for many years. Pipes under my pool settled and my pool lost well over a foot of water. Horizon (Jake) did a fantastic job repairing it and I am happy to have my pool fixed and beautiful again.

Pool pump worked fine on a Sunday afternoon… died on a Monday morning when it had to go back to work I guess. Anyway, 2 pool repair phone calls later and no one could make it out same day to look at it. So, after watching a quick youtube video on pump repair I pulled off the motor and hauled it in to Horizon. Marty was incredibly helpful, in fact so helpful that it was more like an hour long educational session. I ended up buying a new motor. It was a bit more expensive then I could have ordered it for online, but I ended up saving on the labor and installed it myself. In conclusion, this place is fantastic. Will definitely go back again. Thanks guys, great customer service!
