We specialize in offering our community a variety of ways to honor a life, pay tribute and celebrate special memories with the ultimate goal of helping to begin the healing process and offering closure. There is no rule book for what a funeral can or can’t be; however, it should offer family and friends a chance for healing, support and to celebrate a life well-​lived. We specialize in helping all families create a fitting farewell that will honor their memories.

History

Established in 1999.

In April of 1999, the business began with the opening of a custom built funeral home in Wellington, Kansas. Since then Bryce Day and Tytus L. Cornejo have been privileged to serve hundreds of wonderful families in Wellington and the surrounding communities. We view you and your loved one as an important part of the history that makes us who we are today.

Meet the Business Owner

Tytus C.

Business Owner

Tytus was born and raised in Wellington, Kansas, the son of Joyce (Burden) and the late Ralph Cornejo. Following his graduation from Wellington High School, Tytus attended Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kansas. While there he worked at the Rindt-​Erdman Funeral Home. Tytus then transferred to the Kansas City Kansas School of Mortuary Science and was a 2003 graduate. Since then he has helped in every aspect of the funeral home by managing multiple branches of the business in several communities and in 2009 he assumed the daily operation of the business. Tytus and his wife, April, finalized the purchase of the business in 2013. He feels very fortunate in being able to offer his services and care to the community he has been a part of all his life. Tytus and April live in the funeral home residence with their children: Maizy, Ralphie, Sophie Benny and nephew, Jax. They are members of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Wellington, Kansas.
