History

Established in 1972.

In 1952, Jacob Birnbaum, a Holocaust survivor, started his own dental lab after immigrating to the United States from Germany. His son, Nathan, developed a love of dentistry and after graduating from Harvard College in 1968 went on to graduate from Northwestern Dental School in 1972. Nathan established his own dental practice in his parents’ home office, and by the time he graduated from Boston University with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics in 1974, Nathan had a thriving practice in Newton, Massachusetts.

Nathan moved his practice to its current location in Wellesley, Massachusetts in 1996 and his daughter, Heidi, joined the practice after graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008.

Nathan and Heidi are proud to carry on their family’s legacy of quality dental care and hope to see the practice continue to grow from one generation to the next.
