In all seriousness, I have never before realized my full fitness potential until the day I met Katie Boyd. She is as real as it gets and she completely changed the way that I look at fitness and nutrition.
I first went to Katie when I decided to compete for the crown for Miss New Hampshire USA; a state preliminary to the Miss USA pageant. Katie knew exactly what areas to target on my body and got me on a fast track to fitness. Now don’t get me wrong, that fast track required more dedication and hard work than I ever could have imagined, but Katie was there every step of the way pushing me and challenging me to go beyond what I thought I could. I was so thankful for her when I not only placed the highest in the swimsuit competition, but I also took home the title of Miss NH USA 2011!
Prepping for the Miss USA pageant took my mind and body to a whole different level. Katie Boyd became my guru and everything fitness/​nutrition now flowed through her expertise. She gave me goals, but more importantly, she gave me exactly what I needed to reach my peak and ultimate fitness both physically and mentally. She kept my curves and gave me muscles that I never knew existed. Knowing that I would be competing for the coveted title of Miss USA live on NBC and struttin’ my stuff on stage in a bikini would have probably made my skin crawl before having met Katie Boyd, but having her on my side every step of my way to Miss USA had me feeling like I had finally reached my best. I was confident and ready to take on that Vegas stage and yes, even that little red bikini! I did not walk away with the Miss USA title, but I walked away feeling my ultimate best and I am so thankful to Katie Boyd (Marjan my amazing TRX trainer) and all of the Miss Fit Club trainers for all of their support and encouragement!
I am very proud to say that I am forever a Miss Fit!

The Miss Fit Club is the brainchild of Katie Boyd, former Beauty Queen turned fitness expert and official trainer Miss Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut Teen and Miss in the Miss USA System and Miss Massachusetts and Vermont in the Miss America System. She also works with a number of Miss America local preliminary pageants, including Miss New Bedford (MA-​America). In 2008, Katie’s pageant clientele won titles Miss Massachusetts International, Miss Massachusetts America, Miss Massachusetts USA, Miss NewBedford, Miss Fall River, Miss Taunton, Miss Bristol County, Miss Mayflower, as well as a Top Ten finalist at Miss International 2009. Her famous clientele also includes members of the New England Patriots and Patriots’ Cheerleaders.
Katie is a tough cookie and tells it like it is. If you want to get in shape, eat well and feel great THIS is the place to go.
