Much like my review on the Monroe-Pittsford location, I come here way too often to give it less than 4 stars. I mean, it;s the 13th of January 2015 and I’ve already been to both! I mirror Breanna B’s sentiment on what the area offers with Ulta and Target mentioned. I am a crafter/knitter so I always check out Joann Fabrics and look for an excuse to use my mobile coupon, same applies to Hobby Lobby across the road. This is my favorite plaza in the 585 area by far. TJ Maxx is the icing on the delishiz retail therapy cake. My recent pickup was a super cute women’s long a-line zip up hoodie with a wide hood. Perfect to pair up with a wool coat. and leggings. This is one reason I love shopping TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. So many pieces to combine! Not the same outfit displayed on a manikin at Express that women will have on at work or friends will wear to the next happy hour. My only complaint about this location is that the fitting room floors are probably not cleaned regularly. On my last visit I got dust on every bottom I tried on… even when I was careful!

This is the worst TJ Maxx in Rochester. Very anemic selection, especially in the men’s department. The house department is not that much better. Every time I’ve been there, I end up going to Target and finding what I need. I need to give up trying to find something in this place

I am a maxxinista. I should be their spokesperson. My friends are always impressed that I have luck finding anything at Marshalls/TJ Maxx locations. This is my preferred TJ Maxx spot. They have the best household items, specifically furniture. I also have found several purses and landed on the jackpot… my #1 favorite Sea Minerals body lotion. Last one in stock. Boom! And, just days after I finished off my last container. If I ever see another one again, I’m swiping it up. Stockpiling for the apocalypse. This particular location is bigger than the Pittsford one. They have a wider selection of ladies clothing — athletic clothes, jewelry, dresses. Shoes are meh. Purses are fab! Lately, there’s been an influx of Cynthia Rowley clothes on the TJX. I adore them. They’re fitted, comfortable, simple, but trendy. Her dresses fit my body type perfectly. I try to resist not buying every different style they have. If you notice me wearing a new dress, it’s likely CR. I’ve also picked up the ideal baby shower gifts. They have so many name brands for half the price of picking them up at the big box stores. It’s a longer trek to get here, but I’ll usually plan out a couple more stops in the Webster area — Target and Ulta are in the same plaza. Try it, trust me, you’ll love it. And if you don’t, let’s go together and I’ll open your eyes to the treasures you can find.
