Service King Collision Repair of Webster

My daughter had an accident. The other party’s insurance company sent us here. We were taken care of better than what I expected after reading other’s reviews here. I even asked if we could take it somewhere else and the other party’s insurance company would cover the repairs, but no warranty. We reluctantly came here.
It took less than a week to get our car back. The only issue we had was when my daughter called on Saturday to get the status. Michelle answered and was very rude to her.
We just picked up the car and it looks great! We will try it for a few days to make sure nothing is bad. Otherwise, Ronnie took care of us and he did apologize for not having it out Friday. He was very professional. They did a good job.

Even though the word ‘service’ is the first word in the biz, I wouldn’t expect any sort of marginally acceptable service from this location of the Service King.
There are two Service Kings in Webster if your shit-​show insurance company sends you out towards Galveston to have your car baby looked at after a c-​word smashes into it with his SUV because driving is hard. This is the Service King located behind Pappasitos and the Honda dealership just off of the highway. It is the only one on Kobayashi.
The only thing they did correctly was honor my set appointment time around the time of that appointment on the day of that appointment. The ‘service’ was extremely rude, rushed, de-​prioritized by anyone calling up on her celly or walking into her office to gossip about girl talk, and worst of all I had to repeat myself numerous times. Not because I was talking in the Cardassian mother tongue but because she was just literally not listening to a word I said and it was painfully obvious.
Had this been a date at a restaurant rather than a required-​by-​insurance appointment I would have only suffered around long enough for the appetizers to come out so I could stuff them ALL into my various coat and pants pockets, quickly taken off into the night, and angrily eaten the apps on the way out to the bus stop.
If your traveling carnival of an insurance company tells you to come here, tell them hell no and to pick another location of the Service King (or another brand altogether like Uncle Touchy’s Garage, Playground, & Ice Cream Shoppe/​Torture Dungeon)
This place used to be Sterling years and years ago. Old Lady Sterling must be rolling around in her grave knowing what has happened to her old ancestral land under the invasion banner of the [lack of] Service king.

Thank you, MELISSA! This girl went above and beyond to help me out in an already stressful situation. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. The body work on my car was completed in the amount of time estimated and they did a fantastic job. Will be back.

When I took our vehicle to Sterling for repairs, Melissa called Enterprise to pick me up and drive me to their office to pick up a rental car which All State was paying for. Melissa kept me informed as to the progress of the repairs. We went to pick up the vehicle a day earlier than promised. When we got there our vehicle, it had been repaired, cleaned inside and washed. We checked the vehicle with Melissa and found everything to our satisfaction. She said to drive it a couple of days, and if we were not happy with the repairs to give her a call.. She told us to leave the rental car there and she would call Enterprise to pick it up. That saved us a trip. When we got inside the vehicle to drive away we found a thank you card from her thanking us for the business. We drove the car home with no problems. The next day the manager called us to see if we had any problems or concerns. Thank you Sterling, and THANK YOU Melissa!

Sterling was recommended by Allstate for some front end work on my 2007 F150 XLT. Sterling advised the work would take 2 weeks… 24 days later the truck was returned incomplete and dirty. Their was over spray in the engine, all dust covers and air dams were either missing or unsecured. They completely overlooked an obviously damaged hood, used the wrong color paint and some chrome trim was removed and not replaced. ALSO my front license plate had to be removed to replace the front bumper (understandable) but it was not put back on. When asked why the license plate was not installed the secretary advised «we didn’t know if you wanted us to put it back on» OMG really!!! When I reminded her it was illegal to drive with out a front license plate in Texas she told me «not to worry about it, I should be fine.» When I arrived to pick up my truck I noticed food wrappers, bottles and old car parts in the bed. My drivers side window tint had an obvious scratch on it. When asked about it the secretary advised that a mechanic had in fact damaged it. Then she blatantly lied and said that the tint had been replaced but WAS SCRATCHED AGAIN IN THE SAME SPOT BY SOMETHING INSIDE OF THE DOOR!!! She had an excuse for everything. Sterling also has a policy that states the vehicle will be professionally washed and detailed, I guess they also forgot that. My truck was filthy inside and out. I was completely outraged at what I found. I told the secretary that this was unacceptable and she told that she agreed and all of the problems would be fixed. Sterling’s manager avoided my calls and never called back. After a week I contacted an Allstate insurance advocate out of Dallas (great guy). He provided a free rental and allowed me to take my truck to the dealership to have all the repairs properly completed free of charge and no question asked. The kicker is that the dealership billed Sterling for the repairs!!! I’ve never written a review on anything but I felt obligated to share my experience so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
