Red Mango

Worst management ever. I would never spend my hard earned money here. Do not send your children to work for them.

With taxes… my Acai Berry Banana Bowl came out to be $ 7.52. Disappointment. Definitely not worth my cha-​ching.
Too little acai juice with too much ice. The ice wasn’t even throughly crushed. I found two solid ice pieces in my bowl. The acai juice is mixed with their house yogurt (you can substitute it with other products like milk). A generous amount of sliced bananas, blueberries, and some granola are sprinkled on top. The portion is big but I think my own version of homemade Acai bowl is better. The mixture of their Acai isn’t smooth/​thick.
Their yogurts are delicious here though so don’t shy away from this place. Just don’t get the acai bowl. They make those detox/​cleaning juices here too!

The sample cups are out in the open so you don’t have to worry about asking for some or even worse, rely on the employee to do it. The yogurt itself is delicious, as are the toppings.

Owner has exceptional customer service! He offered to exchange our smoothie if we didn’t like it, but we loved it. He was very pleasant with rare hospitality that’s hard to find. Best quality around!

Most unprofessional owner I have ever run across. My daughter worked for her for several months and said she would come in happy one day, and the next she would blow up yelling at employees in front of customers like a 2 year old. She was erratic, had no ability to train staff„ BUT ALWAYS READY WITH A COMPLAINT. My daughter worked at a moments notice when she was called, and was never late. When I called her to request a 1099, she said it would be a week or two. She was busy with her own children and unpacking from a vacation. I told her it was for a college application to Baylor, and all I needed was the figure. She couldn’t care less. She was extremely rude and only worried about herself. She was a horrible boss and a terrible business person. I have owned my own business for 30 years and have always hired high school/​college kids. Unprofessional and no business experience. DO NOT SEND YOUR YOUNG ADULT TO WORK FOR THEM!

Almost done with ice cream but wanted to point out that those little gummy bears are not my favorites. They are hard to bite, really chewy.

I’ve only been here for their yoghurt and not their smoothies, so my review is off of that. They have about 8 flavours and you can fill a sample cup yourself. They keep a handy hand saniziter nearby. so y’all, please use that.
They have dairy free/​sorbetto flavours (at least one) so that’s always a nice option. They frequently have blueberry, vanilla, and peanut butter around.
Calorie counts are posted for each flavour, as well.
There is a nice selection of toppings, and you can ask for fresh slices of bananas.
Ample seating both inside and out. The place is consistently clean!

I’ve been a fan of Red Mango ever since the grand opening in New York City. Things just keep getting better and better, and I’ll always love the classic original yogurt with mochi and strawberries.
I wanted to commend this particular location for the service. Every time I encounter Tonia, she is super-​peppy and looks happy to work here. Tonia smiles at everyone, has a kind comment for them, and always remembers to ask if you are a reward member so you can get hooked up with discounts or special offers.
You rarely see this kind of enthusiasm, even in Texas where people are naturally friendly, so I thought it was imperative to note this. Service here is appreciated!

Tonight was my first time eating at Red Mango. We were immediately greeted by Landry and Sam, both very nice, funny, and inviting. I got a strawberry banana smoothie (which was great.) I really liked it here and will definitely come again! Thanks!

I am the worst at checking in when I frequently visit a location. I got my husband and daughter hooked on this place.
If you are sick (sore throat, tonsilitis), I swear by the Honey Badger Fat Burner with immunity and vitamin boosts. Now you know.
I have always loved mango, so it’s no surprise that I either get the magic that is the HBFB (see above) or a Mango smoothie with mango boba. I love it! My husband gets the Super PB Cup and my daughter gets a kid version without dairy. Still yummy.
I do like the bar as well, with all the colorful and fresh ingredients. The place is well kept and fairly spacious.
My only quip is that I wish there was a small kids’ bowl (somewhere in between the sample size and current bowl). It’s not a deterrent though. With my Club Mango card, virtually every 2 visits I get a $ 5 off coupon for the next visit. Yay, me!

Love this place! You can make your own parfaits! Best frozen yogurt place in the area!

Great and unique place. I’m so glad they have sugar free and dairy free smoothies. It just makes it is much easier to order when I don’t have to ask to cut all that out. I really love the banana pb protein smoothie. It is always my go to every day before my workouts. All the all fruit smoothies are excellent as well. And juicing is my new cleanse to detox. It is all around a great place and I would like for this business to expand.

Sorry Red Mango, I wanted to like you.
I went in here last night for the first time. Immediately noticed two high school aged employees behind the counter who loudly (and kind of sarcastically) greeted us when we walked in. There were only two other people in there so that type of greeting was completely unnecessary.
Every new yogurt place I try I want two things: A good Original flavored yogurt and a good heath bar topping. I went straight to the sample cup to try their original. Turns our the machine was low on mix… no it HAD no mix. Nothing was coming out. Next up I wanted to try the white chocolate flavor. I decided to go with that flavor, so I went and got a bowl and it came out as slow as molasses. Sure enough, that one was low on mix too. I stepped back only to notice most of the machines were low on mix.
Next was the heath bar topping. They were individually packaged in little plastic ramekins which I had never seen. When I opened it, instead of a nice crunchy topping it was all melded together into one clump. Ew. Kid behind the counter was like «Yea, its always like that so we put it in the plastic.» Yogurt ruined.
Lastly, I mentioned the two high school aged kids behind the bar, CLEARLY not doing their job of ensuring there is enough yogurt to go around. In fact, the entire time we were there they were loudly talking to each other, possibly flirting, and slapping around a balled up piece of paper treating it like a baseball. The thing would land on the floor and the counter and they would pick it up and keep hitting it back and forth to each other loudly giggling the entire time. I felt embarrassed for the Dad and daughter in there trying to enjoy their yogurt. And even more embarrassed for the two employees who had no idea they were going to get called out on Unilocal…
Sam and Olivia… sorry, but its your fault I wont be coming back. Its unfortunate that two people make such an impression on how you view a business as a whole.

This is the best frozen yogurt around. The yogurt tastes very fresh and isn’t heavy with sugars. After eating it you don’t feel like your in a sugar coma. The store is very clean and has a great selection of toppings. They have sample cups so you can try out the flavors. They sell not only yogurt but also sell smoothies, fresh pressed juice, and healthy bars/​snacks. I can’t wait to come back !

Ordered a mango smoothie and it tasted nothing like mango. I don’t know if the person who made the drink got the order wrong, but it tasted like coconut. When I told the girl who charged me crazy $ 8 for it said «oh, that’s how they taste like». Obviously employees need to be trained properly. If they think coconut taste same as mango, you’re in the wrong business.
I would recommend jumbo juice or smoothie king.

I think I would have given this red mango if the service had been a tad bit better and if the fruit toppings had been a tad bit more fresh. I got the taro flavor yogurt and it was AWESOME, sooo good, the toppings were decent nothing I’ve not seen before. My main complaint was when I was waiting to pay, the line hd grown to four people because the person at the register was making a smoothie so she had no help, after quite some time help came from back and the line started moving, but yea… this shouldn’t happen in the middle of a Sunday.

Juicing is something I have been doing for over a year now and its really hard to do when your on the go. I had a early appointment and decided to stop and try red mango. I am kicking myself for not discovering it sooner. Their juices are delicious! Had the Fred and Ginger (sorry no photo it was gone before I knew it). It had a good balance between sweet and spicy. For an area with not so healthy options Red Mango is the place to go to. Owner was very courteous, he took the time to explain the menu and suggest what I should try first. He offered me samples of the yogurt but being vegan dint partake. I did try two that were dairy free and I was not disappointed. All in all great experience plan to revisit when I am in the area.

Red Mango is by far my favorite frozen yogurt place. The yogurt is so unique-​made from greek yogurt– and all of the flavors are wonderful. I’ve had 4 or 5 of the smoothies,
probably almost all of the yogurt flavors, and I’ve loved everything so far.
The management at this location is wonderful and friendly, I really have no complaints.

Took my friend who has never had froyo before (say what??) here, and he’s a believer! I’ve visited *plenty* of froyo places, and Red Mango stood out to me as a great self-​serve froyo joint that also sells itself as a smoothie and health nut shop. They’re in the plaza right across Baybrook Mall, so it’s a sweet place to eat lunch after a shopping spree :)
This was my first trip to any Red Mango, and to me, it stands out from the ten million other froyo places popping up– self-​serve froyo, and they also serve fruit smoothies, health /​protein bars, and select beverages. The sample cups are near the froyo cups, so you don’t have to feel bad about asking for them. There is also hand sanitizer and napkins in the same area. Choose to fill the traditional froyo cup or the clear plastic cups. which makes it that much prettier ;D
Half of their flavors were fruity like mango, but even some of the fruity flavors were creamy (instead of tart) like white peach! I’m a total fan of indulging in creamy flavors like peanut butter, so I had plenty of delicious flavors to pick from. Of course, they had the swirl options as well. The lady told us that Red Mango makes their yogurts from liquid, which apparently «makes a big difference,» and that everything is from natural ingredients and all that jazz. Read closely and you can see that the «Froyo Mashups,» which are certain flavors like the «Slam Dunk» (cookies and cream), have some artificial ingredients in them as well. Calories are also listed on the label~ but I am still a fan of their yogurt! The froyo doesn’t melt instantaneously and holds its thick, creamy texture up well ^o^
Good range of toppings– the things I care about like mochi and cookie dough are there, along with lots of fresh fruit, candies, popping boba, drizzles, cookies, etc.
Not sure if they do this at other places or not, but the lady told me to weigh our cups separately because we got different sizes cups, and they subtract the weight of the cups. How neat is that? First time I was told that! Sign up for their mobile app and get $ 2 off your next visit (even if it’s your first time) :D Red Mango, you’ve got yourself another fan, yay!~

Hubby and I wanted some fro yo and since we haven’t been here before, we decided to stop in. The sign on the windows states «No High Fructose Corn Syrup» … BONUS points for Red Mango because we try to avoid HFCS if at all possible!!! The owner was there and he was super friendly and informed us that their yogurt is shipped as a liquid so the cultures remain live … sweet! I opted for half Peanut butter and half oreo cookie flavor.
They also have smoothies, so maybe next time I’ll try one. Very tasty and we’ll be back!
