I have only eaten at this location once because the service was so bad. If the pizza wasn’t so freaking good, we never would have spent any more money there. The baked ziti was not that good, kind of bland. Their meatball parmigiana and chicken parmigiana sandwiches are really really good, although I’d give the edge to the chicken one. Surprisingly, for an Italian place, the French fries are also very well done. But the pizza… oh, man the pizza! I’m from New Jersey, I know what pizza is supposed to taste like and Mario’s gets closer than any other place in Texas. The sauce is right, not too sweet, the crust is just the right thickness, and the cheese is almost perfect. I will say that you need to eat it hot while the cheese is melty(unless you like cold congealed cheese, which I know some do) for the best flavor. I also have to give props to their delivery team. Often I would call in an order for delivery and they would say it would be 45 minutes to an hour, but then 20 minutes later, I’d hear a knock on my door. Maybe it was because I lived so close or they were just hedging their bets, but the food always got there well before their estimate and it was always hot. If I still lived in the Webster area, I’d still be a loyal customer, but take-out or delivery, only.

Went here for the first time today for lunch with a coworker. Lettuce in salad was brown, potato salad warm, and the pizza buffet contained 4 pizzas that all had pepperoni on them. The pizza was just«ok» — nothing to brag about. There was also a strange smell(burned food) lingering and it was so dark that it appeared as if they were trying to cover up that it wasn’t clean. It definitely didn’t feel clean. Won’t return.

Love the vibe of the place; quaint mom & pops feel. Pizza sauce is my thing-theirs was a little runny. Don’t get the house dressing-it tastes like straight vinegar. Staff is friendly & attentive. Pizza could use more flavor bc from the atmosphere I expected authentic Italian. Maybe try the robust sauce option.

Gave them a second chance, but I can’t justify spending money here any more. If all you care about is good pizza, then i will say the pizza is pretty good. But we went on a Tuesday night, which they advertise kid’s eat free. Checking the kids menu though, there is no option for pizza. Odd for a pizza place. Oh well, my kid orders mac-n-cheese. No bread or anything is served at the table which I also find odd. The mac-n-cheese arrives and is definitely something out of a box. Service was slow, but nothing too bad. Although, we sat with empty water glasses for quite a while. When we are ready to leave, we get the check, and the mac-n-cheese is on the bill. I asked the waitress and she said that kids only eat free if you order an entrée. The pizza was $ 17! How does that not qualify as an entrée? Oh well, I pay the bill, which was brought to the table without any sort of wallet/billfold so the receipt is sitting in water. We won’t be going back. Good pizza, but way too many other things that just aren’t as good as other pizza restaurants in the area.

Looks can be deceiving. Stop and eat here!!! Great pizza, good service and feels like home. The manager is the best cook but all are good. Thursday is $.99 beer!!! Yes I said it. And it’s good beer not just bud and Coors. Must go Thursday!!! Calzons are awesome. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

It is a bit dated, but it is my daughter’s favorite place for pizza. Now if they would only serve gluten free pizza.. .

I ordered the pasta trio and chose the manicotti, cannelloni, and lasagna. Food was not edible. Manicotti and cannelloni fillings had terrible taste. The cannelloni filling was an unappetizing green color and I could only stomach 2 bites of it before pushing it aside. The lasagna was the only thing on my plate that was ok. All of the food was bathed in way too much sauce and cheese. The lettuce on the salad bar was also sitting in a pool of water, who knows what kind of bacteria was growing in there. On top of all of that, the staff were less than friendly and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We have been to the Marios in Seabrook and there is no comparison between the two places. If you wanna try Marios, drive to Seabrook or get ready for a disappointing experience at the Nasa location.

We get take out from marios on a regular basis– it’s excellent pizza and given the price and occasional coupons it’s unbeatable. We love the wing sauce and blue cheese dressing.

Family style restaurant. I ordered the lasagna, it was a huge portion and it tasted fine. My love ordered a Hawaiian Pizza it was pretty good. The Mozzarella sticks were blah(totally frozen).

Food ok. Service terrible. One server for 10+ tables. He was getting no help from any other employee until we shamed them into helping him. Hostess was more concerned about being on her phone. It was a joke. Won’t go back. There’s too much other competition out there with better food and staff.

I attended a private party in their banquet room. They ran out of food. One table didn’t get to eat. They did put out more food after and hour and half later when our speaker and awards ceremony was over. Food was just ok. The salad dressing tasted and looked like the came out of a bottle and not made there. The bread was cold, not room temperature but ice cold. The lasagna was the thinnest I have ever seen and lacking meat, cheese and taste. They might be a good restaurant but I would not recommend them for a private party.

Great pizza, friendly service, and good atmosphere. They changed the recipe on the Tiramisu(or where they bought it from), not to crazy about it.

Awwessome pizza it’s great!(Sounds like Tony the Tiger) The restaurant is nice but the main reason to go there is their pies. I recommend to go on a week day during the lunch special you can get to enjoy the pizza buffet and try the different kind of toppings. I have not tried the pasta when I usually go its for the pizza. There is no real atmosphere to stay there and drink all afternoon. People mainly go because of the awesome pizzas they have been around since the sixties so they are good no doubt about that. Also the service is great they are always making sure that your OK and they have a salad bar get your own salad.

I went here with my boyfriend for just some dessert. We got a cannoli and tiramisu. The cannoli was ok but you could it was most likely pre-packaged. And the tiramisu was pretty much still frozen! I’m from Florida and just visiting Texas. I don’t plan on going back to this place… at least for dessert.

I feel bad giving a negative review for this place. You can just tell they try hard to do a good job here. I think this might be an instance of where myself and the owner /chef /whoever just have different ideas on what tastes good. For starters we order cheese sticks. You could easily tell they were frozen and microwaved before being served. Some were more hot while others were cold. My pizza had all fresh ingredients but was extremely bland. I ordered one of the white kinds. Can’t recall exactly which one. I am a huge cheese lover but it had too much. More cheese than crust. Scary. And as soon as it cooled down it was like biting into a block of cheese. My husband(not a picky eater) got a pizza with a tomato sauce base and meat. He didn’t like his either. I believe it was the flavor of the tomato sauce and they chopped the meat up so much he couldn’t tell what he was eating. The End

UPDATED: I’ve been there twice in the past month because it was so good! The pizza is amazing. I’ve always said Angelo’s had the best pizza in Clear Lake, but Mario’s is better. And the salad bar is excellent. I think that sounds weird because who gets excited about a salad bar, but many of the items are fresh, not bagged. Delicious! Their lunch buffet has changed, as it’s now only pizza and salad(no pasta) but it’s still worth it. I think my husband and I will now be going there at least once a month. OLDREVIEW: I refuse to go there anymore. The last two times I went, there were little bugs(gnats?) flying around and landing on the food. yuck. Go to the Mario’s in Seabrook. Cleaner and so good!
