Benson’s Wheel Alignment & Service

Benson’s is the only shop I trust to work on my truck. They have no problem letting me walk in the shop (at my own risk) talk to the mechanics and watch them work. I’ve sat in the waiting room and seen them deal very honestly and fairly with everyone that walks in. I’ve been to a fair number of shops that either didn’t know what they were doing, or were ripping people off. Not these guys. I enthusiastically recommend them.

Honestly, when I try to think of great things to say about Bensons I’m speechless. There aren’t enough great words to say or write about them. They have helped me time and time again with my car problems throughout the years with honesty, hard work, great service, and great prices. I grew up in small towns and when I moved to Houston area, finding a business that resembled what most small town businesses are known for, great customer service with a great price, it was hard. Until Bensons was recommended to me. Not to mention, I’m a young female by myself so I’ve been to a fair share of places who try and take advantage of that, charging me way more than what’s needed. For example, I recently went to NTB for a diagnose on a wheel problem since Bensons was closed at the time. NTB quoted me $ 890! I told them no. They then said they could drop the price $ 300 bringing it to $ 590. I still said no and that I was going to bensons. Without me even mentioning this to them the next day, they got my car in and fixed for only $ 290. I do not trust any other place with my car besides Bensons. I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Adjusted one side only (camber) and gave truck back with steering wheel 30 degrees off center when traveling straight.
Had to have it redone. Wasted $ 80.

What a great place to do business with! They aligned my vehicle (06 Jeep Wrangler), and when it started to pull a little bit, they told me to bring it back in! I did, and they took care of it! Thanks Benson’s! See you for all future needs!

Great service, I was in and out with 45min for a wheel alignment. They didn’t pressure me at all just gave guidance on what my options were. Definitely recommend. The chairs in the waiting area are very soft and comfortable while you wait!

Benson’s is wonderful. My clutch went out Friday evening while visiting in Galveston County. A friend recommended Benson’s, so I called them Monday morning to explain the situation and seek advice. They were able to recommend a tow service who billed to them, and then called me when my car was received. When I picked my car up, (meeting Peyton Benson and employees in person for the first time), my invoice was reasonable, which impressed me, since I was an «out of towner» in a vulnerable position.

I have heard good things about this please for years and recently brought my car in for service. I have had a severe tire wear problems and asked them to check the suspension on my car. When I initially scheduled appointment the person who answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. I left the car there and they did a thorough inspection and alignment which took about an hour and a half. They could not find any significant problems and was amazed when they told me there was «no charge». They explained the alignment printout and discussed my problem in detail. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and will bring all of my vehicle here from now on…

Greatest auto shop ever. Excellent work at honest prices. Been here several times for several reasons and I’d recommend them based on any one of those trips.

The most honest and trustworthy repair place I have ever been to! Another place said I needed shocks and struts plus for over 1100 bucks, All I needed was an alignment and wheel balancing!

I’ve taken my vehicle to Benson’s three times now and they are absolutely the most professional shop I’ve ever dealt with. This word of mouth, appointment only shop has very knowledgeable people, who are friendly, straight to the point and very honest. I’ve had my truck’s brakes done, transmission serviced, several 100,000 mile items, and a few other things done by them and they’re all done consistently well, in good time, and for a fair price. Easily five stars in my book!

Benson’s has been in business over 30 years and I’ve been a loyal customer for probably close to those 30 years. Peyton and Bob (the 2 owners) are very honest and conscientious. They treat their employees right so they have a good staff of hard working mechanics.
They’re called Benson’s Wheel Alignment since they were until some years ago strictly a front end and brake shop. Now they do most auto work so as soon as my check engine light comes on I’m on my way to Bensons.

I feel really fortunate to have found Benson’s! They do not advertise, as they have plenty of customers via word of mouth only.
Lots of people here in the NASA/​NASA Contractor community use them, as they are extremely knowledgeable, and FAIR.
I never feel like they are trying to screw me over. They are very honest when it comes to not doing unnecessary work to your vehicle.
Can’t beat their prices either!

Here is another honest shop I just discovered. They did a wheel alignment for me over my lunch hour at a fair price. But like all the good shops you need an appointment. They also sell Michelin tires, complete front end repairs, brake repairs, A/​C and electrical (from their card).
