History

Established in 1950.

The building that is The Bay Side Pub started as a small walk up hot dog stand called Peg’s Hots. In the late 1960’s it became The Clam Shack. In the late 1970’s it became Jack Daniels. In the late 1980’s it became the Bay Side Pub. In 1996 it was acquired by Tom and Anna Maria Ban and brother Robert Buono who expanded the outdoor area with charcoal grilling and picnic table dining on picturesque Irondequoit Bay.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert B.

Business Owner

Rob grew up in a traditional Italian family that loved to cook and eat great food. He thought all families were like his until he brought some friends home for dinner one night and they were totally blown away by the incredible food they were served. They asked in amazement, «Do you always eat like this?!’ Rob’s sister Anna Maria and her husband Tom all share a love of cooking, and you can tell by the food they serve at The Bay Side Pub.
