The company was founded in 1985 by Steve Schaefer.

The family owned collision center boasts a successful track record starting with one location in Webster Groves, MO and growing the family business in 30 years to eight locations with seven of the shops located throughout Missouri and our newest location in Illinois.

The Schaefer family attributes their business growth and longevity to their dedicated focus on customer service, good relationships with most major insurance companies, and providing their employees with a rewarding work environment. Schaefer Autobody Centers was awarded the Better Business Bureau (BBB) «2010 Torch Award» for exceptional ethical business practices.
