History

Established in 2000.

David’s Guitar Loft began in Webster Groves with a Lesson Studio in 2000 focusing on teaching private one hour lessons. In 2004 We expanded and opened our Webster Groves Retail Store. We then decided to open a 2^nd location in Fenton in 2011.

Throughout my 22 years of teaching and performing I have developed a curriculum based upon fundamentals which lead to results for any level or style. Our staff is comprised of formally trained teachers who perform and teach all styles of music professionally. We all follow a centralized methodology and enjoy what we do. A true Mom and Pop Shop here in St. Louis

David has been a teacher of guitar and bass for 25+ years. He has been performing in rock, jazz and blues bands since the fall of 1986. He received his degree in computer information systems (CIS) with a minor in music theory from Southwest Missouri State University in 1991. David has a true passion for guiding people through their musical journey and loves sharing the enjoyment of music.

Lara has a degree in Interior Design and a knack for business so she paired up with her husband to help run the operations of the Lesson Studios and Retail Stores when they opened up in 2000.
