Food was excellent. Fried potatoes were actual pan fried potatoes. Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Service was impeccable. Side note: there was a guy sitting at a table for six, and it was just him and his girlfriend. You know who you are. Not cool.

We were not impressed. I ordered their«homemade lasagna special» it was indistinguishable from Stoffers. It is a shame that the good people of Weaverville find this food edible and they are allowed to pass stoffers as homemade. Lastly, my fiancé ordered the vegetable plate and all of the«homemade vegetables» were soggy and canned. Really wish that these people would cook instead of warming things up. Cook. Please.

Fast eats, reasonably priced, diner atmosphere, lots of fried foods(not my thing), Tommy’s fits right into Weaverville. We eat at Tommy’s when we’re too tired to cook and don’t feel like venturing very far from home. It definitely serves it’s purpose.

This is a 4-star family restaurant off the beaten trail. Excellent food and friendly down-home staff make it a great stop. I had to admit to Unilocal even though it’s been open for quite a long time! Give it a try.
