Stunning little café in beautiful downtown Weaverville! It looks like a very small space from the outside, but just step right in and be awed by the large open space — thanks to extremely high ceilings which are a work of art themselves(just take a look, gorgeous wide planks). With a handful of tables(high tables inside, patio table outside) and a small sitting area, the café is informal and you’re more likely to get wine, cheese or sandwiches to go, but the café is inviting enough to sit back and enjoy your treats. They have a great wine selection, a tasting counter and a good selection of beer. They offer a small selection of sandwiches, tried their turkey sandwiches(one with havarti cheese and cucumbers, the other with brie and apples). With chips, the meal will run you $ 7.75. It was a nice freshly made sandwich and the pairing was great, however(unless there’s another option) they use plain white bread, I hope they look into a better, thicker bread in the future, the plain white just feels a bit uninspired when you have great ingredients stuffed inside. Service was quick and helpful: took a couple minutes for the sandwiches to be made, they were delivered to us and you have to bus your own table. Check out Maggie B’s if you’re in the mood for some wine or a nice sandwich.

I and Eric went to this wine shop for visitation only. But the shop is amazing. It sells wine, beer, cheese, meat. The most surprising is that it has lovely bar for customers to sip wine and beer with a perfect dish– meat. Perfect! The shop has been in business for almost four years. The cheese and some of the beer provided there are home-made. For people who want to taste different categories of wine, it has free tasting on every Friday. As said by the staff, middle and older people are frequent customers of the shop. Of course, everyone under 21 is not allowed to buy beer or wine there. Although I am not a drinker and did have a chance to taste wine, I highly recommend this wine shop as it has a little bar with wines, beers and cheese arranged at the stands respectively. You can relax while enjoying sipping wine or beer.
