History

Established in 1978.

Established by Lewis and Elaine Martin, Pineland Bakery is now under the direction of their son, Curtis Martin. Still family-​owned and operated, we still remember what customer service means, and know many of our customers by name.

The best bakery cakes, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, sandwich, pastries all the food in this bakery. It’s little a little piece heaven on earth, my family has been going here for decade to get the best pastries. I have the pleasure to travel a lot and have lived on both western and the eastern part of the country. Being I’m a true foodie no one comes close to this awesome bakery call Pineland Bakery. This place is a must stop! Everything is homemade and delicious– fresh pastry and fresh unique coffee. I really love the cream cheese danish but everything else I have had has been great too!

Driving by and saw the sign advertising caramel cakes. Bought a whole cake and a chocolate donut. Both were excellent; cake was moist and fluffy, better than any home made cake that I have had. Looking forward to my next trip through Waynesboro, so I can get some other goodies.

Listen! I can’t say enough about this place. It’s 30 minutes south of Augusta. It’s my halfway stop on the way to my grandmother’s house. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve driven there just to grab a box of delicious goodness. For me they tie with Lil’ Dutch. I have my favorite treat at each one. What’s worth the drive and worth sabotaging your diet for? The danish-​all of them-​but specifically the cream cheese. I get a whole box and freeze them do I can savor one whenever I want. Mister loves the fruit filled danish and the cookies. I thank God, they are out of town because my waist line wouldn’t be able to stand it!
