Hostess and waitress were very nice, but the buffet looked unappealing(compared to Souplantation or even Hometown Buffet) and the off-the-menu order I placed(an omelet) was an oddly small serving size on an oddly small plate with oddly small pieces of toast. Maybe this place is great for holidays when you have a large family you want to feed.

Went for the Seafood Extravaganza Buffet and let me tell you this is probably some of the worst food I’ve ever tasted. They had more dessert selections than they had of actual food. The crab legs were under-sized and over-cooked and watery. The steamed shrimp were so over-cooked that you couldn’t even peel them. The shell was stuck to them and not worth the effort. I had a $ 25 gift card for this dump so that’s the only reason we decided to come here in the first place and we won’t be back. As I went to pay I over heard one of the employees saying alot of people were complaining about the crab legs. That was for good reason too. If your interested in crab legs I’d suggest going to Dave & Jane’s in Fairfield, PA or the Epic Buffet at the Charles Town Racetrack. About the same price and you’ll get quality crab legs.

I have only been here twice. First time i wasn’t real impressed. I decided to get a to go order last night and it was the best food I have ever gotten with takeout at any resturant ! I wanted a chicken salad club… was told they didn’t have them on the menu but the hostess asked the manager who graciously offered to make it for me. THAT is customer service! I also ordered a hot roast beef with french fries. Those fries were amazing ! We definitely will be back !

We went here this afternoon after shopping at Lowes and i saw the reviews on Unilocal and thought there is a buffet. But after paying 10.99 for adults for the lunch buffet and the food was good but there wasnt much to choose from. There was just one buffet area of salad one buffet area of the food and a carving station. The food was alright but the desserts were awesome!

for a buffet the food is decent. we go here for lunch on occasion and the food is consistent. much of it taste strait out of a can like there spaghetti sauce but that is all I expect from a buffet at there price point. servers are always nice however a few of the ladies that refill the buffet can be down right rude. I was with my 6 yr old daughter filling her plate and both sets of tongs where on the opposite side of the line for the fried chicken, when my daughter went to reach for them the lady snapped at her and told her not to reach over the food in a VERY nasty tone. although I agree with her comment A) I already had my daughter’s arm in hand to pull it back and say the same thing and B) I would not talk to a dog like she spoke to her.

I was so happy when Keystone Family Restaurant opened. I am a big fan of the buffet especially the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and Mac and cheese. The carving station is also good! There is also a fresh salad and a soup/bread bar however I recommend not filling up on these items because there are so many better options. Finally there are tons of deserts to choose from including cakes, pies, pudding, jello, and fruit. There are even sugar free options! Finally there is ice-cream if you are interested, just ask your server. The buffet you get is an amazing meal at an amazing price. The buffet is available breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If the buffet isn’t your thing you can always order off the menu but I STRONGLY suggest you try the buffet.

This was the first time we tried Keystone Restaurant out. We went for breakfast and the food was decent. Breakfast on a Sunday morning is expected to be a bit busy but it seemed like they struggled to keep up as many of the offerings were empty. We were there at 9:30 and left at around 10:10 — when we left, they were opening a 2nd buffet station which may have helped with the supply/demand issue but I can’t say for sure. Food was standard breakfast fare – eggs, hash browns, biscuits, French toast, waffles, pancakes, donuts, sausage, and bacon. I just wish I could’ve gotten some waffles!

This building has housed many memorable restaurants in the past, but The Keystone is my new favorite by far! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was full, but the service was still great. We had tried the buffet during the previous owners tenure and were disappointed. This DIDNOT happen during this visit. The carving station has the most tender beef roast and also a juicy whole turkey. And do not forget to have a slice of Virginia ham. The array of fresh vegetables was staggering. All just like Grandma makes. The Lima beans and candied sweet potatoes are not to be missed. But you are going to have to save some room because when you see the dessert spread with all of the homemade cakes and pies you will kick yourself on the way home if you don’t have some. And don’t get me started about all of the homemade breads! If you are anywhere near this place, stop in. If you aren’t near, plan a trip. You will not leave hungry or disappointed!
