Wellesley Inn

BARK, BARK, WOOF. What? The hotel never mentioned that they were hosting the dog show participants when I made my reservations. I could have gone elsewhere! Dogs barked ALL night long.
The hotel was clean but a little old. Sheets were worn and had holes in them. Mattresses were lumpy and sloped to a V in the middle. No refrigerator in the room but there was a coffee maker. Some rooms have refrigerators in them but they couldn’t say for sure which ones. No plastic liners for the ice buckets but there were compimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo). There were amenities such as a gym and breakfast available but we did not use them.
Service was not up to my standards. We did not get the sleeping arrangements that were promised when reservations were made. We were then offered blankets and pillows to sleep on the floor since no extra cot was available. What? Who does that?
It’s not the worst place but not the best either. If you are really tired and need a local place to stay give it a go. Personally I will try someplace else next time.
