Two Paper Dolls is INCREDIBLYGIFTED when it comes to design and aesthetic and INCREDIBLYLACKING when it comes to the client experience, professionalism, clarity of terms, and adherence to a schedule(which, when you have a wedding timeline, is pretty essential). Our invitations were delivered 2 weeks late, and this was only after I reached out to the«project manager.» There was no project management. They also don’t present you with a contract, and require a $ 1,000 retainer up front. This retainer is for the process of design, and they don’t apply it to your invoice until the«end of the design process.» It was ambiguous and weird because we were always confused about how much we owed, when, and what the retainer was being applied for. As another reviewer on Wedding Wire put it, it seems the assumption is that you’ll keep adding on services and design elements — but if you don’t want to do that, you have to be really clear that they should STOP designing so that you can«redeem» your retainer — otherwise it’s lost and you have to apply it to more products. Bottom line: our invitations came out beautifully, but the experience of working with them was more stressful than any other vendor. I’ll bullet point pros and cons below. PROS 3 beautiful design options to pick from The invitations really reflect the wedding and the venue Excellent execution and final product — really stunning CONS Every time they set a deadline they were 1 – 2 weeks late delivering Our initial meeting stipulated the design ideas would take 2 weeks; it took 3 The delivery of our invitations was 2 weeks late Confusing terms of service, no contract, odd payment structure A project manager who doesn’t reach out; you have to keep checking in yourself

I used Two Paper Dolls for our wedding invitations and table numbers, and they turned out beautifully! I think I received more compliments on the invites than any other part of our wedding! They’re extremely professional and creative. They walk you through your options and ensure you make the choice that is right for you and your budget– NOTE — make sure you mention your budget so you do not fall in love with something that will completely destroy you! I was impressed by the many options they presented for the invites, but also how well they coordinated our invites with our table number displays. They are expensive, but honestly they’re worth it. Such wonderful work and extremely fast turn around times!

When it came time for me to design my wedding invitations, I knew I wanted something a bit different and by God, without the LOVE statue. I had seen the work of Two Paper Dolls in Delaware Today magazine and by following Laura Novak’s blog. My Mom and I drove out to Wayne one afternoon after work and were greeted with a lovely, comfortable, chic farmhouse setting to design my invitations. Nicole Miller met us and talked us through our options. She was very receptive to my ideas and asked that we allow their designers to mock something up. I obliged and when I got the proofs, tore down the hall at work screaming: «HOWWILL I EVERPICKONE?!» The one I did end up choosing was met with many compliments and almost two years later, I have not seen anything like it. Two Paper Dolls also did the«Day of» pieces for my wedding reception, which is where you can truly let your imagination(and wallet) run wild. They are a little pricier than normal, but you get what you pay for. Excellent, personal service, and creative execution! Their store in No. Libs is adorable, too!
