Procedure was fine, but the billing has been an absolute nightmare. The amount that was quoted, which I captured in writing, is not at all what my invoices have been. I’ve got 10 stacks of invoices from 3 different providers and zero answers. After several months and 10 calls to his office, I’m now told that I need to take a day off work to get this resolved. I’m nearly sure that it will cost me much more than what I was told. Personally, I don’t think Dr. Kassir would be happy knowing that his patients have this experience, but it doesn’t seem that it’s important enough to him to make things right.

Such a scam! During my consultation, Dr. Kassir told me there was nothing wrong inside my nose, therefore I would have to pay upfront for the cosmetic rhinoplasty that I had wanted. All I needed was the tip of my nose reshaped. Everything is good at the moment and I pay the amount before the cosmetic procedure. I had my rhinoplasty done in August 2015. A few months later, I get a check from my insurance for about $ 10,000. It says that Dr Kassir performed septoplasty, fixed an apparent deviated septum, and all these other internal «problems» that he so graciously fixed for me while he did my cosmetic rhinoplasty. However, I know that it is not true since I did not ever have a deviated septum or ANYTHING wrong inside my nose. I’ve gone to multiple ENT’s before this and no one has ever told me about a deviated septum. Kassir and those in his office kept harassing me about forwarding them the check for all this work he supposedly did inside my nose. It’s absolutely ridiculous. He scammed the insurance company, and made about 23,000 $ from my rhinoplasty alone. (Original cost was 13,000 $, plus the 10,000 $ from the check). Oh, and let’s not forget I paid out of pocket for my anesthesia (1800 $), and even the damn anesthesiologist, Dr Tosi, billed my insurance as well to get an extra 1000 $. My nose looks fine, not exactly what I was expecting. Save yourself the trouble and go to someone else.

Had me waiting for over an hour in a tiny hot room while he took care of a more «important» patient which was one of the real housewives of New Jersey. When he finally got to see me he told me that the filler for my Non surgical nose job would be 2,000 for a filler that would only last me 6 months! Unbelievable. So I told him I could not afford that so he said he would just do the tip of my nose for 1,000. So I decided to do that since I made the trip all the way there. Made me wait even MORE time in the tiny hot room, then finally came back in to do my filler with NO numbing cream! He did not care at all. So after he put the TINY drop of filler in my nose which wasn’t even worth 1,000 dollars cause he said he can only do the tip for 1,000 and not anything else, I went home and not even 2 and a half weeks later my nose went back to its original state. What a waste of money. Could have gotten the same procedure for UNDER 1,000 somewhere else for the full syringe instead of such a small amount.

if i was in a coma and they told me i went to dr kassir office for treatment to clear brown spot i would say that person is lying. i was qouted a figure of 950 that then became over 2k when i said why did it change she said oh sorry its 950. wtf??? this might be a place to fix/​alter your nose but not for skin issues. waste of money. i went for various follow up, then it became clear this was wasting my time. not happy but atleast my skin isnt worst …

I went for a non invasive cosmetic procedure. The staff was courteous as they were very informed on treatment options. I was able to choose a device that has helped me reach my aesthetic goal with a lot of downtime. I am also looking into procedures that they offer as well. Its been a while since I last been there and have seen a dramatic improvement as to what I believe was already good customer service.

As others have mentioned, he is all about the money. Do not believe a word they say unless you have a copy of it in writing. Ask for copies of any paperwork & take the time to read it in detail before signing. Don’t let them pressure you– if they tell you to sign right away in order to get some great deal, know they’re lying. The staff members there are scam artists. The second the sale was made and I signed the paper work, they dropped the fake friendly act.
Here’s the short version of my story: I was given the date & location of my surgery. After everything was set and I made all necessary arrangements, I was told Dr. Kassir had a conflict and had to reschedule my surgery. The secretary offered a new date at a new location, but did not mention that this location would cost an extra couple thousand dollars. I had my surgery, paid for it in full, and then got a bill for over $ 2000 from the surgical center. After months of dealing with some of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life, they called me and told me the bill was taken care of and I didn’t have to pay anything else. I mistakenly did not ask for this in writing. Almost a year after my surgery, I received a letter from a collection agency asking me to pay the bill in full. When I tried to clear this up with Dr. Kassir’s office, they told me they also believed this was settled, but when I asked for an email or something in writing saying that, they refused. They then proceeded to yell at me, not let me talk, and hang up on me. It’s been well over a year since my surgery, the bill is still not settled, and I’m set to meet with a lawyer this afternoon. The stress this has caused has made the entire surgery not worth it.
Here’s the long version:
At the consultation I was told the procedure would be $ 10k including all charges and would be in Manhattan. I was also told that the secretary mistakenly told me this price and it should have been closer to $ 18k, but she came back and said Dr. Kassir agreed to it because he didn’t want to go back on what I was already told and he knew I was a waitress and couldn’t afford over $ 10k. What a nice guy. The only catch was I had to sign and put the first payment down right away or I would lose the deal. I agreed and then some other doctor I knew nothing about came in with an iPad and quickly scrolled thru the document on the screen occasionally holding it out telling me where to sign. I never received a copy of that document. I scheduled a date and time, found a ride to and from the surgery, found someone to cover all my shifts at work, and planned my start date to my new job based around this date. After all this was set, I received a call from one of Dr. Kassir’s staff saying that Dr. Kassir wasn’t actually available on the date of my surgery and I had to reschedule. She offered one or two dates that completely conflicted with everything I had already planned. Then she said, actually if you have the surgery in Wayne I can schedule you for this date, which was still an inconvenience, but it was possible to rearrange my schedule and the schedule of those involved to make it work. We agreed on the date and time. There was no mention of a change in price for the different location.
After the surgery I received a bill from Wayne Surgical Center. I did not understand why, so I reached out to both Dr. Kassir’s office and WSC. I then understood that the difference between going to the Manhattan office and WSC was that Dr. Kassir owns the Manhattan office so he can control the price there, but not at WSC. I insisted that this was due to Dr. Kassir’s scheduling conflict, I was not informed of the change in price, and I should not be responsible for it. After months of back and forth phone calls, being ignored, avoided, and treated incredibly rudely, I was told by both Dr. Kassir’s office and WSC that they had come to an agreement and I was not responsible for the bill.
Months later, after thinking this whole stress was all behind me, I received a letter from Pressler & Pressler that I had been sent to collections over this bill from WSC. I reached out to both the debt collectors and WSC and they both had no documentation that this was taken care of. When I called Dr. K’s office they apologized, said they thought this was taken care of and they’re on the phone with WSC handling it now. I asked for some sort of documentation of what she just said and she laughed and said she can’t just produce a document for me. I asked for just an email restating what she just said and she screamed at me and said it’s being handled now and she can’t send me anything. I began to ask again but was interrupted when I realized she put me on hold. Someone then came back and without allowing me to speak said, «Hi, we’re going to have to call you back. Have a nice day.» They quickly hung up and still have not called me back.

All this doctor cares about is money! He convinced me to put filler under my eyes. What a disaster! They look hundred times worse than before. He would take no blame for what he’d done to me. My eyes are destroyed. Do yourself a favor and run from this place!

A 1 is stretching it, dr kassir kept pushing extra product and filler on me. He then made my face crooked, over charged me and when I complained he ignored me. His policy is no client will be unsatisfied, but I found him to be uncaring and unprofessional

The experience with Dr. Kassir and his staff has been amazing. He is a very well-​rounded surgeon who is compassionate and a pleasure to be around. His artistic abilities are self-​evident. I highly recommend Dr. Kassir; you will be extremely happy with the outcome.

Dr. Kassir has helped me in more ways than he can imagine! I’m so blessed to have found such an amazing doctor who is not only knowledgeable but is an artist. I can finally breath correctly out of my nose. Thank you again Dr. Kassir, you are truly talented and very much appreciated.

Dr. Kassir is extremely patient, detail oriented and a true perfectionist!

This business is a prime candidate for lessons in «Customer Service» and business ethics.
I heard about this practice through Groupon and purchased a certificate for a PhotoFacial treatment a few months ago. I tried to book an appointment about a month prior to the expiration of the certificate, but I was told that their first available appointment (throughout all of their 2 – 3 office locations) was ONE DAY after the date of the cert. expiration. I specifically called this out to the Mona Lisa rep. scheduling my appt. She assured me that it would be fine and that they would honor my certificate since it was not my fault that they did not have openings available on their schedule.
Fast forward weeks later and five days prior to my appoint, I received another call from Mona Lisa Office telling me a completely different story. This time I was told five days prior to my appointment that they will not honor my cert. and «Oh by the way, we have no appointment openings available to you for use by the certificate due date. So you will have to forfeit your $ 129 that you spent with us.»
I was told they could not accommodate the volume of Groupon certificates/​request for appointment and told me to contact Groupon for a refund.
Why would a business promote themselves via social commerce only to disappoint the very customers they sought to attract in the first place??? Why should their inability to accommodate the volume of business coming-​in be the fault/​burden of the actual consumer?
This was the first disappointing social commerce experience I’ve ever had! As far as I’m concerned, this vendor should have never participated in a social commerce promotion if they were unable but moreso unwilling to keep their end of the transaction.
