Mariann took care of our pups and sent us updates and photos all weekend. Pet Nanny is a very professional business with loving, caring dog sitters. We love it!

I was so incredibly anxious to fly across the country for a week and leave my kitty alone for the first time. I briefly thought of boarding him and couldn’t handle the thought of my baby alone in a cage for an entire week so I started looking into pet sitting options and found Pet Nanny through a Google search. So glad I did!
From the moment I sent in a request for a price quote to the very end of my service, Pet Nanny was always incredibly responsive. My pet sitter, Katy, was absolutely lovely and equally as communicative. While I was gone, I received texts (and pictures/​videos!) from her every time she visited. She left the cutest notes, too. While I was away, Philly was slated to experience a big snowstorm and I was nervous about my cat being left alone but Katy immediately texted me that, no matter what, she would make sure kitteh was taken care of. I was able to full enjoy my vacation because I knew that my kitty was in amazing hands.
I would unequivocally recommend Pet Nanny to anyone. The prices are slightly better than competing agencies and the service you get in return is unmatched. Thanks for letting me enjoy my vacation worry free!

I’ve been meaning to write for a while. Over Christmas, while I was away for two weeks, my neighbor, who I asked to sit the cat called me because she threw her back out. I totally panicked but called Pet Nanny, who I have used before. They replied right away, picked up the keys and my cat didn’t miss one feeding. And I have used them several times. They always have great pet sitters and as a business, they are very reliable and responsive. I recommend this service to anyone. Great job!

Pet Nanny has been a lifesaver! After a whirlwind move to the Devon area, we had to scramble to find a pet sitter to walk our dog at lunch and also check on her over the Thanksgiving holiday. On short notice, the Pet Nanny team (thanks Sue!) responded to our inquiry and planned out all the details of what we needed and scheduled our initial visit with our sitter for two days later. Everything worked out great and we are thrilled to have Pet Nanny look after our dog. It’s been everything we could have wished for.

We’ve been using Pet Nanny for several years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Knowing that our, ahem, sometimes high-​maintenance pitty is in the hands of sitters she knows and loves is worth every penny. Carol watches our girl Tippy about once a month when we’re away, and she goes out of her way to make her time with Tippy extra special. She brings toys and treats (taking care to ensure they jive with Tippy’s dietary restrictions) and always leaves a detailed diary of her visits. We’ll continue using Pet Nanny because it’s simply the best that we’ve found!

We needed a last minute dog sitter since we had the chance to get to the beach for a weekend. A friend recommended me to Pet Nanny and everything about the service (how they treated us and our dog Lulu) was great. Our dog has to take medicine at different times of the day, which can get complicated but the sitter seemed totally on top of it, and Lulu seemed great when we got home. Their Pet watchman app also sold me on their service too and it was great having that extra peace of mind knowing our fur child was well taken care of so mom and dad could have some fun.

There is no one that we trust more for our pet walking, visit needs! We have a high energy dog, and whether we have a long day out or are on travel (which we do frequently) we can relax knowing he’s in good hands. I highly recommend!

Summary — do NOT use this service…
I went against local friend’s dog walkers and decided to give Pet Nanny a try based on their stellar ratings and, in the end, it was a bad decision. At the time of the service, we had a 11-​week old puppy and the sole reason of the service was to take the puppy out, feed, play and ensure she was entertained and cared for during the days while I was traveling on business (I typically work from home and can care for the dog during the day). I scheduled two early sessions with the service to see how the dog would enjoy the service and they went well. Scheduled for an hour each time, Jackie and our pup worked out well and she was well taken care of for an hour (I was in the house but not present during the session). After two successful trials, we decided they were the right service for the week I would be away and we needed a bit of assistance.
When the service came during the week, Jackie was only there 45 minutes on three of the five days and just over 30 minutes one of the other days… good thing I have security cameras installed at my house, otherwise I wouldn’t have known that she wasn’t there for an hour! I don’t have footage for the 5^th day, but I assume she wasn’t there for an hour as well. To add to it, the notes she left said she spent the majority of the time outside, when in fact most of the time was spent with her on her phone. If I am paying you to care with my dog I expect the majority of the time you are at my house you are playing with/​caring for my dog. I am not unreasonable and know you may need to text, look something up, or make a call, but when you spend a chunk of time sitting on my couch waving your arm with a toy, that is unacceptable.
When I called the service, I was told that they would check and see what happen with Jackie. I received a call back stating that Jackie didn’t know it was a 60 minute session and thought it was a 30 minute session. The manager Sue explained it was «her fault» because they don’t put the times on the sheets and she wouldn’t expect Jackie to know what price was 30 vs. 60 minutes. This is where it really didn’t make sense:
— You’re telling me that you offer different times but do not put them time of the sessions on the sheets for your employees and there is no way for them to know how long a session is supposed to be?
— If it was 60 minutes for the days I was there for the trial service and she stayed 45 minutes three of the five days, I think she knew and was just trying to take advantage of us.
Maybe this is just one of the walkers, but based on the information provided by ownership, I would think this happens more often than not. Needless to say they refunded me ½ of what I paid for the service and that is the ONLY reason they received a two star vs. a one star rating.

The Pet Nanny service was extremely professional! Our Pet Nanny, Allison, met with us and our cats before our vacation to learn of our pet needs along with our pet’s personalities and hiding places! Allison sent me e-​mail updates as well as left us a written log of each visit. When we came home, we found our cats happy and healthy and our home was neat and clean. Allison also took care of taking in our mail and cleaning our litter box!

I found out last minute that my boyfriend and I were both going to be out of town at the same time. We had just moved to Newtown Square the week prior from California, and did not know anyone in town, let alone the state! I am relieved to have stumbled upon pet nanny through Unilocal– what life savers! Its a very affordable service, and they were super accommodating with my last minute situation. They set us up with Megan, a short drive from us, who was willing to stop by daily to check on our two cats.
They provide a free app– petwatchman– which is really cool. It tells you with GPS when the petsitter is at your house, and for how long. I looked forward to the updates about what my boys were up to when I was gone– when the app wasnt working for a couple of days as it was being worked on, they made sure to get me Megans number. She texted me daily when she was there and filled me in what the kitties were up to.
I have another trip coming up, and my boyfriend travels for work, so we will be needing a pet sitter again. There is no question as to who we will go with. Pet Nanny gave me peace-​of-​mind knowing a professional would be there with them when I could not.
