We hired this company to do a recent move and would have to give them a bad rating based on the damage they caused to my hardwood floors during the move. They did not put anything down and rolled a dolly across the floor and scratched it up and now I’ve been trying to file a claim and I am not getting a response. They also broke a landscape light. I understand that moving is hard but they should be more professional and careful. The lead guy on the move Mike complained all day saying how much he hates his job and he can’t wait to quit — I think this company over works these guys and pays them very little and this is the result. I would not recommend this company for any type of big move they might be ok handling a couch or a few small items but not anything big.

High marks to these guys! They put me at ease from the first phone interaction to the last mover signed off for the day. Really top notch. Joan and Ed in the office are great and a pleasure to work with. Nice, honest, and budget-​conscious people. On sites I worked with Cory, Hank, and Rich. They really were wonderful. So sweet and hardworking and conscientious! Plus, you could tell they knew what was what, had done this a million times before, and were going to treat your items with the utmost care.
I would use them again in a second.

Moving is a stressful endeavor. We turned to Litemovers to handle the process of packing up our house and moving our stuff into storage and we are so glad we did. Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, who was assigned to handle our move was not only professional but also very personable and were sensitive to the emotional aspect of our move.
The team was efficient from start to finish and caring at the same time. Their individual personalities were both fun and informative and the suggestions they had for our move were spot on. They turned a stressful move into one that was both efficient, fast, and even fun. And at the end of the process, when all was done they even came in under their initial estimate.

This company was contracted to unload our furniture delivery from out of state. The staff were hard working, courteous and friendly. They refused to let us lift anything and quickly moved to help as we began to rearrange furniture after they placed it where we had asked it to be placed. They assembled beds, removed packing materials and handled items with great care. I was very impressed at their speed. I highly recommend this firm.

I contacted Litemovers based on a positive recommendation from a friend. I did not end up using this company for my move because of their terrible customer service and refusal to do an in home estimate. Every other mover I contacted was more than willing to do an in home estimate. I literally live four and a half miles from their office. I was in touch with them several times, and always got the runaround. Because of their poor customer service, I cannot recommend this company.

they are beyond fantastic! the movers are patient, careful and as nice as can be. the best movers i’ve used by far! i’ve moved 3 times in the last 6 years — the last 2 moves i used 2 other companies and they were horrible. i wish i had found litemovers sooner! great great great! their pricing is very competitive. they even fit me in during a busy week when I called last minuter and they originally thought they couldn’t do it.

Recently moved from a one bedroom apartment to a townhouse. It took 2 guys 4 hours to load then unload the truck. They were polite and were very careful with my belongings and newly installed floors. Communication with the company was great. It was easy to schedule the move and received a reminder confirmation via text a few days before the move. The movers arrived 15 mins early and worked hard for the next few hours. Then I received a call from the owner the day after the move to see if everything went OK. I told the owner that everything went very smoothly except for the fact that the movers scratched my concrete front steps with the metal ramp that extended from the truck. I’m hoping I can fix that !! I have had dicey experiences with movers in the past so this was a worry free move for me. I recommend them even if they were more expensive than other companies and despite the front step scratches. It’s worth it.

Ed and Joan and everyone at Litemovers made sure we had the easiest, worry-​free move ever, despite all the complex logistics. The crew was amazing: efficient, upbeat, and considerate. We asked a lot of them, and they really came through. Their rates are also incredibly reasonable and very competitive with other movers in the area, some of whom even refused to make the multiple stops or handle the heavy furniture we needed moved. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I cannot say enough good things about Ed, Joan and their team. Ed and Joan helped us coordinate our move through several rescheduling issues due to our new home renovations. They could not have been more understanding and flexible! The day of the move went more smoothly than I could have imagined. Five guys worked efficiently to move us from our townhome into our single family home. They were polite, professional and made sure we had everything in the right spot. They were fantastic. WE heard some nice thibgs about them, but interviewed 5 others for a downsizeing move of 5 miles. But all has to be moved.
The three man crew were each excellent. Everything inside the two places and our stuff, furniture etc. Were perfect. They were done in 5.5 hours or so. Came on time and loaded, then moved us and re placed in the new place and gone. 9am to 3pm. Price was less than quoted.
These are trustworthy, honest and fair.

I live in NC and was fortunate to find Litemovers online. I needed help with a very small, but important move of some sentimental items from one home to another in Malvern, PA. Over the phone, I described the situation to Ed and the items to be packed and moved… he quoted me a price which I felt was fair. I actually had a lower quote from a similar type of mover on the Main Line, but I didn’t feel as confident about that mover. From the beginning, Ed was friendly, helpful, concerned and honest. I felt he would handle the move with care. I was not disappointed! Ed and his team came through for me and moved my things from one home to another while I went about my business in North Carolina! In addition, although the move took a bit more time than he had anticipated, he still honored the price he had quoted me. Thank you Ed! I highly recommend this business to anyone who values reliability, honesty and integrity.

Contracted Litemovers to help me move from West Chester to Royersford, guys were great, showed up on time, were clean cut, and treated my stuff with care, would def recommend to anybody who wants their movers to treat their property with the same respect they would treat their own. Thank you guys

I booked a date with Litemovers for March back in January. There was a mix up on my part about the dates and I realized the day of my move what had happened. I called Rob Lail, the president at Litemovers, at 7 AM on a Sunday morning when I was stuck at the apartment I had to be out of before midnight that night and Rob saved the day. He sent Garvin and James out to move all my stuff from the fourth floor of my apartment building (with no elevator) into my new house in the pouring rain. Garvin and James didn’t complain once about the stairs, the rain, or all my stuff — instead they told corny jokes all afternoon. They were two of the most polite guys I’ve dealt with in a long time. I got a half hour warning phone call from Garvin when they were on the road on the way out to my apartment which was very helpful because I was able to run to the store before they got there and wasn’t waiting at their disposal all afternoon. They also arrived right in the window of time Rob promised. They didn’t break anything and they took my bed apart and set it up for me. Moving is incredibly taxing and stressful and having the two of them to help for just about two hours saved me 10+ hours of frustration and back breaking labor. The price quote was right on the money, too. No surprises with Litemovers … they get the job done just as they promise. Don’t forget to TIP YOUR MOVERS! They make their living on gratuity and moving is hard work.

This company gave me an estimate quickly via email after visiting our small house. On the day of the move, they arrived promptly and went to work. We were shocked when they pulled away from our new place in center city after just 3 ½ hours. This move was very smooth and efficient. Ed and his team are pros!

This is far and above the best moving experience we have ever had! We moved my Mom from Easton PA to Devon to a senior living place. We spoke with Rob on the phone several times both before, during and after the move. The price was extrememly reasonable, movers were prompt, polite, professional and patient. I highly, highly reommend these movers!

Contacted Litemovers after another awful moving company failed to complete their contract.
Called on Monday afternoon, needed to move a few items that evening. Was given immediately to Robert, the owner. He was incredibly helpful in working with us to find a feasible solution, explained all of his rates thoroughly and accurately, and even provided his personal cell number in case anything didn’t work out.
The movers arrived 1 hour after confirming the reservation, were quick, careful, and professional. Robert called again after the move was completed to make sure everything went off without a hitch.
After the nightmare experience we had with the previous company, I was amazed at the quick, quality service the Litemovers provided. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I just used Lite movers for the second time. These extraordinary people handled an emergency with efficiency, expertise and dilligence. (They were emptying out a gym and an older piece of equipment leaked motor oil on a white wool rug). Their speed and dilligence (including calling a few colleagues) enabled us to remove the oil leaks on the whit carpet as well as adjunct carpets and cement. It is my pleasure to share this incident with others. I would never use anyone but LITE MOVERS and strongly recommend them to everyone.

I was lucky enough to have Lite Movers help me with a fairly substantial move from the Main Line to Harrisburg and they were phenomenal! Ed and the crew were professional and conscientious movers who took care to protect our property and belongings every step of the way. Moving can be such a hassle but these guys made it painless and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone!
