Willowbrook’s Hallmark store is actually pretty great. They’ve got a huge stock of stuffed animals, Peanuts gifts, and even candles. They have a decent holiday ornament section, and enough wrapping paper options to let you coordinate the boxes to your house decorating scheme.
Wait, doesn’t everyone do that? Oh.
Obviously they’re expertly stocked with tons of cards. I’ve rarely seen the racks «picked over» or empty — even with big holidays coming up (Valentine’s Day, are you ready?). The staff is very friendly & helpful to those poor overwhelmed procrastinators who stumble in hours before an anniversary/​birthday/​holiday.
Bonus: it’s located on the Bloomingdale’s side of the mall, on the lower level close to the escalators. This part of the mall probably gets the least amount of foot traffic, so if you’re in a rush, chances are you won’t hit a big mob trying to get there. Enough time to park, run in, grab a card, & get home before your girlfriend/​wife can say, «I can’t believe you forgot again!»
