We specialize in all aspects of vein/​venous disease, perfoming treatments gently and in the comfort of our state of the art office. We treat everything from fine spider veins to large, ropey varicose veins and venous ulcers. We also have one of the few ICAVL accredited vascular labs in the area for diagnostics, as well as handling emergent DVT studies (deep vein clots). Most treatments excluding cosmetic spider veins are covered by insurance !

History

Established in 2007.

The Advanced Vein & Vascular Center is a 3,000 square-​foot, state-​of-​the-​art facility located on the Main Line, which is the first of its kind in the Philadelphia region. It is the only full time vein center in the region. As a full time center concentrating on varicose veins and other venous problems, we are able to accommodate the most difficult schedules with expertise and unsurpassed convenience. We provide expert medical evaluation and innovative techniques to improve your legs and vascular health, without invasive surgery. We are proud to have been awarded «Top Doc» honors consistently since 1994 by Philadelphia Magazine and by Castle Connelly, for our vascular surgery and vein treatments.

After serving as Chief of the vascular surgery department at Jefferson for 24 years (the last 16 as Chief) Dr. Carabasi «headed west» only a short 15 miles or so the the heart of the main line in Wayne, There he set up the only dedicated full time venous disease practice in that area — treating varicose and spider veins, vein matting, venous ulcers — anything to do with your vein system! In June of 2013 we started our 7^th year here. Dr. Carabasi loves what he does, and the close patient contact that was often lacking in a big, impersonal hospital setting. And to have thousands of happy legs on his patients — that he has helped perform to their best is a great feeling!
