Wayland Dental

Let me just start by saying I was an absolute scaredy-​cat about the dentist. Which you can imagine led to a lot of dental issues. When I had my first visit about two years ago I was immediately put at ease. Dr. Putt is very calm, non judgmental, and very professional. Dr. Putt worked with me to schedule out a dental healthy action plan which we have slowly but surely been working on. He is thorough and communicative during all dental procedures, which I really appreciate. He lets me know when we have gotten through the toughest parts, when we are about half way there, and how everything is looking the whole time. The office staff including the dental assistants and dental hygienists have always been super friendly and accommodating. Super convenient location, clean office, friendly staff, knowledgeable dentist. All in all a great dental office!

I have hesitated to get some dental work done based on unpleasant experiences in other offices. I went for a consultation with Dr. Putt and explained that I was very anxious about the pain that I’ve had in the past. Some Dentists are dismissive when I mention my anxiety/​anticipation of the pain but Dr. Putt was non-​judgemental, caring, and didnt assume my situation is the same as everyone else’s. He has a sincere demeanor, he is willing to listen and throughout the procedure he communicated what was going on. His administration of the novicaine was the best I’ve ever experienced; he took his time and I hardly felt a thing. It held up throughout the whole procedure which involved a lot of buffing/​sanding/​grinding on my very sensitive front teeth.
Another point to note is that he works very well with his assistant Rosemary. They communicated expertly and gave 100% attention to the work I was having done, never leaving my side. Their trusting and respectful partnership made for efficient work with great results. «Compassionate Perfectionists» would be an apt description, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m scheduled for some more work on a different tooth and Dr. Putt’s concern over the look of the finished product will matter a great deal to me and he is very understanding of this. Its reassuring that he cares as much or more that the result is excellent. The office staff are also first-​rate. I had an incorrect time written on my appointment card, but when they realized it, they were nothing short of accommodating. Recently I’ve arranged appointments with Heather via email and phone who has worked to accommodate my schedule and continually carries out the professional, courteous atmosphere of this successful office. I recommend Wayland Dental and look forward to more visits.

I travel a long distance just to keep coming to Wayland Dental. The office staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Dr. Putt and his staff go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and at ease with the procedures being performed and the recommendations they offer. I get text reminders and emails to remind me of appointments which is a really nice feature of the practice. I recommend Wayland Dental to all my friends and family. I could easily find a closer practice but every time I have an appointment at Wayland Dental I am consistently reminded of why I make the trip, it is a friendly, non intimidating place for keeping your smile perfect.

I’v been coming to Wayland dental for over two years. Dr. Putt and Dr. Frank are very nice but it seems like lately the office has grown too quickly and this has impacted the service quality overall. Two cleaning appointments ago, the hygienist was running late and instead of telling me to reschedule she kept asking to wait for another 5 minutes which turned out to be 30! During the last cleaning appointment neither doctor stopped by to check-​in. The last straw was receiving a bill in April for services provided a year ago! So I can’t use my healthcare flexible spending account to pay the bill because the services were provided last year. I asked to speak to the billing department and nobody has returned my call in days. I’m moving on!

Great dentist office. They send text message reminders and happy birthday messages. Since it’s easy to forget appointments it helps that they remind you before hand. The hygienists are really nice and the main dentist is friendly

Been coming to Wayland dental for about 4 years now. Never once thought of changing dentists. The service and quality of work done here is amazing. And the cleanliness of the office is impeccable. I highly recommend this office. Dr. PUTT IS THE BEST! Keep it up Wayland dental! 5 stars all the way :)

My first dental appointment ever and experience was great. The checkin process was real fast and my appt was at 8 am, I was registered in by 8:10 and work started on my teeth immediately after. State of art facility with everything available in-​house. The Dr and nurse practitioner were helpful and through. My entire family (husband, 5 year son) go here and have had good experience. Getting an appt is very difficult and you may have to wait a few months!

I’ve had work done by Dr Putt and Dr Frank. Both seem like good guys and good dentists. They’re on-​time, have early morning appointments, and there’s plenty of parking. I’ll keep going there as long as I can.

I just had my first visit to Wayland Dental, and I was very impressed with the airiness and freshness of the office, the friendly and helpful staff, and the very modern, high tech equipment used during my session. The very first thing I noticed once sitting down was the flat screen TV. My hygienist asked me if there was anything specific I wanted to watch, from news to just music. The next unusual offer was for a blanket; it was in the 90s outside, but inside, as with so many offices, it was chilly. I was warm and toasty for the entire time I was subjected to my treatment. Dr. Putt is a charming young dentist. Upon examining me, he expressed concern for a cracked molar, and then proceeded to take photos of it, which were displayed (blown up, actually) on the flat screen TV in front of me. He was able to point out exactly his areas of concern, and recommended treatment. And, of course, I no longer have to drive 45 minutes to an hour to my former dentist in Boston, which is a huge plus, and parking is a breeze! Big thumbs up to this new Wayland business.

Had an excellent first experience at Wayland Dental with my 3 year old daughter. It was her first dental visit — she & I were both pretty anxious. It was on the brink of going horribly wrong, but the dental hygienist Gina couldn’t have been nicer or more patient. There was a lot of kicking and screaming but Gina calmed my daughter down in a matter of minutes (which is hard to do). She even went out of her way to find a purple toothbrush. Dr. Putt was fantastic too — Looking forward to our next visit in 6mos! — –Great for the entire family!

I had a great experience at Wayland Dental! Marilyn, who was my dental hygenist, Anne Marie, who took x-​rays and impressions for an upcoming procedure, and Terry, who is the patient coordinator, made me feel right at home. Dr. Putt and his employees are the epitome of professionalism. The office has a friendly atmosphere and is kept spotlessly clean. I am confident that Dr. Putt and his staff can take care of any dental issues I might have.

Growing up I’ve always had a fear of the dentist so having the right dentist is very important to me. Dr. Putt is awesome and the hygenists are also great. The staff is extremely friendly and it’s a very comfortable environment. They always give you great advice and show that they really care about you. I highly recommend Dr. Putt and his office!

We just had our first family visit to Wayland Dental, recommended by a family friend. We hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year due to my husband leaving his company. We needed private dental insurance. The receptionist Terry was MORE than helpful — and patient! — with my calls & questions about dental plans she was familiar with, etc. She took the time to write out info on what our plan of choice covered in regards to a cavity we needed filled. The staff is very well informed. My 8 & 11 yr old had nothing but good things to say about their experience. My husband really liked the hygienist and found her to take great pride in her thoroughness. Their equipment & office if nice & modern. I like that it is close to our home. We are happy to have discovered Wayland Dental. Flexible scheduling, too!

We have been going to Wayland Family Dental for years — since Dr. Putt took over the practice many years ago. It has always been a positive experience. Their new office is very nice and the staff great. His assistant, Ann-​Marie is the best! Always on-​time, patients a part of the decision making process, caring and gentle. He also has a great list of fellow specialists if you need them.

Awesome Dentist work here at Family Dental Center… they treat you like a client should be treated… on time with appointment, explanation, and follow up the personal way. I highly recommend Dr. Putt and his staff…
