As a fitness alternative to health clubs and gyms, Artisan’s inviting, serene atmosphere, safe and scientific approach, good humor, and attention to individual physical needs provide a unique exercise experience, just five minutes from Framingham, Natick, Sudbury, Weston and Lincoln. The exercise is culled from physical therapy exercises, dancers’ conditioning and gentle yoga, mostly done at the ballet barre and on floor mats. You can schedule private sessions at your convenience. Or, take group classes, where exercises are modified to suit each person’s unique body and abilities, affording many of the benefits of personal training, but for a fraction of the cost. Each muscle group is isolated to provide head-to-toe conditioning for improved strength, flexibility and alignment, all necessary for healthy everyday living. Weights are added for those who need more intensity, and exercises are modified for those who need less.

Initially certified by The Aerobics and Fitness Association of American in 1991, Diane is a former athlete and dancer with over 20 years of teaching experience. She’s taught athletes, dancers, those who are overweight, those who are convinced that right is left, those who are gym-phobic, those who have a variety of chronic conditions including arthritis and fibromyalgia, and many people who fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum.
