Established in 2008.

Kopf Percussion was formed in 2008 as a family owned and operated business. Our shop and office are located in Waycross, Georgia. We strive to give the best customer service while offering the very highest quality instruments.

Every Kopf Percussion instrument has always, and always will be, handcrafted in the USA. We use the very best materials available to us and implement designs that have been proven over the years to offer the best sound quality and durability. We use environmentally friendly waterborne finishing methods on all of our products.

From the beginning, we have tried to be different from other brands. We pride ourselves in being considered the best. Through hard work and dedication to quality and great customer service, Kopf Percussion has become a leader in our craft.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephen H.

Business Owner

Stephen Head is a businessman, musician, outdoorsman, and family man. He studied Business Administration at Georgia Coastal College and Lagrange College.

He started playing music in the 3^rd grade with the trumpet. He continued to play in the school band, eventually learning to play the French Horn and the Tuba. It was in college that he picked up the guitar. I wasn’t until he was in his later 30’s that he started learning percussion.

Stephen has always loved woodworking, as his father did. It was a natural transition to combine his woodworking skills with his love for music.

He formed Kopf Percussion in the summer of 2008.
