Our comprehensive eye examinations will check your eyes inside and out for any potential eye disorders or diseases. Your visual skills and abilities are carefully evaluated and appropriate treatment is prescribed, whether it’s medication, lenses, or vision therapy. We are prepared to handle whatever your eye care needs are, and will treat them with the latest in diagnostic equipment and are committed to keeping up with eye care technology. Contact Lenses Our professionals can help fit you into a pair of lenses that is just right for you. We are experts in fitting contact lenses and can handle the most specialized needs. Whether rigid or soft lenses, we are experienced in handling the mos t difficult of prescriptions. If you have allergies, then you know allergies can be particularly annoying to contact lens wearers. In the past many people had to quit wearing their lenses during the allergy season. However, new lens materials and allergy medications have made it possible for these people to eliminate the burning itchy eyes associated with allergies. Prescription medications such as Patanol and Alocril are amazingly effective and safe even in children as young as three.

History

Established in 1968.

Dr. Robinson is the third Optometrist to practice in this location. The office was originally established in late 60’s by Dr. James Gill and Dr. B.D. Cope. Being a native of Waxahachie, Dr. Robinson started as a patient of Dr. Cope in his teenage years. Following graduation from The University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Robinson began his career in Waxahachie with Dr. Cope. Upon Dr. Cope’s retirement in 2005, Dr. Robinson has enjoyed growing the practice and working in his hometown. Dr. Robinson lives in Waxahachie with his wife and two children.

Dr. Robinson began his life in Waxahachie as a third grade student at Northside Elementary. While at Waxahachie high school, he was a member of both the varsity baseball and football teams. He was a proud member of the 1992 Waxahachie Indian 4A State Champion football team.

Upon graduation from Waxahachie High School in 1995, Dr. Robinson continued his education at Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1999.

While attending the University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Robinson was selected to the Dean’s List and the Optometric Honor Society. In addition, he completed his clinical training at the University Eye Institute in Houston and the Ft. Carson Army Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his degree in the spring of 2003.

After graduation, Dr. Robinson returned to Waxahachie and worked with Dr. B.D.Cope and has since assumed all patient care following Dr. Cope’s retirement. Dr. Robinson offers complete eye examination, in
