A quilt shop is a quilt shop, right? Well, Common Threads shines for a couple of reasons:
1. They have a large selection of really nice fabric bolts half off. Not the crappy cutesy Christmassy or Thanksgiving stuff, but really good fabric. I was able to nab enough Civil War era looking, high quality fabric half off for a king size quilt I plan to do, including backing.
2. These are some of the nicest, friendliest quilt store ladies ever. All my quilt shopping experiences are back home in Minnesota. There truly is a difference in Minnesota Nice and Texas Friendly. They nailed the Texas Friendly here.
