Absolute Tattoo & Art Gallery

I made an appointment for a consultation with Fabian the first part of September 2014. We sat and discussed my next tattoo, along with several future ones. The entire consult lasted a little over an hour.
Fabian said that he’d draw something up, text me a picture and then we’d decide what to keep and what to change. I was assured that I would have my new tattoo within a couple of weeks. I was pretty psyched about getting it. I was told that I would need to leave a deposit before I left, which I gladly did.
A couple of weeks went by and I hadn’t heard anything from the shop. I called a few times, talked to a couple of different ladies, left a couple of messages. Never heard anything back.
Work began to pick up and I didn’t have any free time. Before I knew it, it had been over 2 months and I still hadn’t heard anything from any of these people at the shop. I decided that I’d drive down and see what the deal was. At the very least get my money back.
Go get there one afternoon and talk to Jordan (I think.) I cannot remember. She is Fabian’s girlfriend. She seems genuinely concerned about my situation. She pulls my file and confirms that I did leave a deposit and that she wasn’t sure what had happened. She said that she would talk with Fabian that day and that she would call me back the first of the week.
I waited an entire week, called back, left messages, still haven’t heard anything from anyone and it is currently May 2015. Eight months later, no tattoo, no return calls, no apology, no refunded deposit. Nothing.
This may be a kickass place to get a tattoo, if you can get anyone to call you back.

Tearanie pierced my septum and I was so surprised that it didn’t hurt at all… AT ALL… not even my ears hurt this little!!! Tony is an amazing tattoo artist, actually everyone in there is. True artists and clean crisp lines. No matter where i live in DFW I’ll drive here for my ink and piercing needs. Amazing!!!

I love this place! Jordan was my artist, and she was so nice and had such a steady hand. The shop was nice and clean. It has such a great atmosphere and plays awesome music.
Shop minimum is $ 50, which to me is pretty decent for the Dallas area. They have a birthday discount! $ 20 off birthday tattoo and $ 10 off of a piercing.
Nose piercing– $ 30
Septum– $ 30
(Those are the only two I asked about)
Again, Jordan was super nice and Fabian was very helpful researching my tattoo. My lil pineapple ended up being $ 80 which is why it lost a star in my opinion. Overall, I had a great time!

Stopped in to get my friends nose pierced, Amy was fantastic quick and really nice. She really made my anxious friend fell comfortable which was quite a relief. The atmosphere was a great experience. Artwork on the wall is fantastic.
I am in the market to getting some work done and will be back just because of how friendly the staff was. We all have had those bad experiences with rude tattoo parlor staff or the typical «haughty condescending or just a douchebag» tattoo artists. From my first impression these guys and gals seem pretty down to earth, which is refreshing for a Tattoo Shop. Keep it up! Will be back in the future and follow up post to come!

Went in tonight at 11pm to get matching «family» tattoos with my sister and niece, in honor of my niece graduating high school. Talked to Jordan about what we wanted, and she drew up a really nice script. Very knowledgeable. Definitely not a flash shop. Loved the art on the walls.
I’m a native Texan who has lived in Cali for the last 15 years. If you are local and driving downtown, you are missing out on this hometown gem for the body art enthusiasts.

I went in and had an old tatoo coverd up by Fabian. It looks AMAZING! Everyone here is a top knoch professional artist. I will definatley be going back! Thanks Fabian.
