Visited on 5÷16÷2016 for my husband’s birthday. We both took off from work so we could drive here from Madison! We ate lunch to get the Eat & Play combo which is such a good deal. The hostess was VERY kind and let us sit in the restaurant even though it did not technically open until 4, but it is much quieter in there so we can talk and enjoy the meal. We really, really appreciated this a lot, such good customer service. Food was good as always! Service was also good. We then spent the next few hours enjoying the games. Was sad to see Tank! Tank! Tank! was no longer there, but we enjoyed the newer ones like Mario Kart, Luigi’s Mansion, DDR(yay! Now get Pop’n Music!) and the silly Nascar racing game, haha. I have never laughed so hard while trying to drive those dinky cars in a circle. After a bit we decided to get drinks at the bar, so we took a seat and immediately got served. My husband and I’s favorite drinks seem to have been nixed from the current menu, which was really sad. HOWEVER, the bartender was awesome enough to make them for us anyways! So one Bananacobana for me and the adult milkshake for my husband. Delicious as always and the bartender was very attentive the whole time. Played a few more games after drinks, decided to keep our tickets for next time. Thanks for hosting a great birthday for my husband, we’ll be back!

First review: The Food Not bad but not great. Standard bar food . The service : Crap. They make you give them a credit card before you can even start to order. They must deal with a lot of dine and dash which sucks for them. There was a issue with 3 of us trying to order drinks. We all have the old up and down license and she wasn’t going to let us order at first because they are not the standard left to right ones that you see now a days. All license were legit and were NOT expired so I’m not sure why they are not trained to know that there’s different types of WI licenses . It wasn’t busy and it took a LONG time for our server to come back. Who knew ordering a beer would take 15 min to get … Everything all around was slow during our whole dining time and our server was not friendly at all . We also asked to get the check split evenly and we each had different amounts to be paid … It’s simple math. I was a server most machines even give you the option of splitting checks now a days… not sure how one can mess that up . The food runner guy gets a 10/10, he was fast and seems to be a hard worker ! The Games. 4⁄5 stars ! You get a play card from the front desk. It is kind of confusing at first. Just slide it in and out to play one game on each machine. You can also leave it in the whole time. Just be sure you don’t press«play again» a bunch of time in a row because it will keep popping up and charge you each time you press it, even before just playing one game . Some games give you tokens which can be used to buy prizes and some are just played for fun . The tokens are added to your card even if you don’t leave it in so don’t worry ! You can check your balance and reload more money onto the play card at a kiosk . They have a bunch of carnival type games in the front that I really like playing ! There are some neat prizes that you can get with your tokens such as game consoles, kitchen appliances and Star Wars collectibles. They have games for single players or games you can play with friends . Go for the games, not the food.

Today at Dave and Buster’s I witnessed something truly despicable! I need to talk about this, because a lot of us have grown up in fairly inclusive and diverse communities and we are constantly told that we live in an American that has out grown our racist past. WEARENOT. This did not happen in the south. This did not happen in the country side. This happened in a Milwaukee Dave and Buster’s today. My husband and I were sitting with our three year old son in a booth and in the booth next to us was an African American family. Our waitress came– took our order, brought our order, and was entirely courteous. We ordered quite a lot and there was no discussion of «prepayment» or payment type before our food was bought. The family next to us had a VERY different experience: First I want to say they were ordering about half what we were(my husband ordered a giant 50 oz. beer for instance) so it wasn’t a matter of the size of the order. They attempted to order their food and were asked to offer payment UPFRONT. I overheard this and they understood, like I did that the waitress«had a problem with black people». I was horrified, but hoped they would get some justice when I saw the manager coming their way… but rather than help he told them that was«their policy» and he insisted that they put they present payment upfront before ordering. I was again hopeful when a a second senior manager came over that perhaps the employee would be punished– this couldn’t be their«policy»! Instead he was threatening– Then he walked away and heard one of the women say«he’s going to call the police». He likely would have if I hadn’t been obviously watching horrified. As they left I gave them my number and name and said that if they wanted to pursue legal remuneration or reach out to corporate they have a witness. It obviously isn’t their policy!!! They didn’t ask us for anything upfront! We were more poorly or equally dressed. There was nothing to separate our tables than our skin color. I left a «tip» with my tip and I plan to post this on that site’s Unilocal as well. This is unacceptable! I am ashamed of my entire race today. R

Excellent service! They also have the UFC fights! Really, the service will keep me coming back. From the host was immediately very welcoming and helpful, and the bartenders and staff kept keeping the bar high!

For a place that is known for arcade games, i have to say that the food, or at least my burger, matched up. I had the Hottie Burger with tator tots. Burger was juicy and flavorful. The tots were hot and crunchy. Overall, I was impressed.

Overview — You can have a really fun time here, even if some of the pieces equal mediocre. Food 3⁄5 Customer Service 3⁄5 If I’m looking for a overall fun experience, I love Dave & Busters. Most of the games are really enjoyable with some big ticket payouts. The tickets tho are almost worthless. The prizes stink and they’ve only gotten worse as time has gone on. That is unless you win REAL big, which is improbable. The food is decent. There’s some things(like the Mac-N-Cheese or Cheesesteak) that are fantastic, but then there’s the penne that’s garbage.

I’ve eaten here and had decent food worthy of closer to four stars however today with a group of teenage girls I have to rate my experience closer to 2.5 — 3 stars. The caveman combo had small burgers and the ribs left something to be desired…(I should know better than to order ribs somewhere other than Saz’s). The service was decent but our table was dangerously wobbly and the server forgot things like appetizer plates and straws. The five for five appetizer combo had very greasy overcooked chips and the buffalo wings were fatty, and no sauce option was offered. In the end this is a great place to get a beer and play some video games but that’s about it unless you come during the week when it’s not as busy, and order something other than appetizer combos.

Had my daughters birthday here last weekend because she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese but that wasn’t happening lol. Booking was super easy because you have the option to do it online. We picked the best package at $ 24.99 per kid(paid for 10 kids) and after fees, add ons, tip, and tax the total came out to around $ 350 and you pay 50% to reserve. When we arrived the day of her party the Managers were welcoming and thanked me for having her party there(they also tried getting me to upgrade with some add ons but I didn’t). I got the kids game cards and handed them out. Here’s where we ran into some issues… — The waitress was sweet but had a difficult time waiting on our party of about 20 – 25 people. We asked her to take the adults orders and she took 1 tables order about every 30 minutes. — Food took FOREVER to come out. It was good but the portions were small and we waited about 45 minutes for each tables food(we had 3 tables with 4 people max at each). By the time the last table received their food we were supposed to be leaving the area because of the 2 hour limit. Those two things are my only complaints. They allowed us to stay longer than we were supposed to which we really appreciated. All in all everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food and my daughter has asked for a party there every year.

If I could give it less than a star I would. Worst servers ever. Terrible food. Felt like it was microwaved. The salad had nothing on it. Just awful

Screw Dave and Buster’s! First time we go there, a private party took up the whole restaurant and we could not go in the place. They ruined a family night and left my brother crying. Never going there again. Also the website did not indicate that this party was going on. Finally, the parking attendant was very rude to us. A terrible first impression.

I generally like Dave and Buster’s, but this was a first time at this location. We received a warm greeting from the lady at the desk and told us to eat before playing games to get the packages. Our waitress seemed preoccupied, perhaps an off day. She knew the products and suggested a few favorites. The food was alright — not amazing but definitely not bad. The orders came out a bit wrong(cheese when lactose intolerant party member requested none) but not the end of the world — easily picked off. The one thing I didn’t kind was everything was so sticky! Booth, table, menus, etc… The game area was fun. Price aside it was a good time. Service was quite slow however. Several games ran out if tickets and it took half a baseball inning to get someone to come over(could see the TV’s in the bar). One have we just waked away from because it took so long — we just wanted to play. There were also random cleaning chemicals and alcoholic drinks just laying around on some games for a few hours. Seemed odd. Overall I would choose a different arcade before here, but I wouldn’t refuse to come again.

Went last night in a group of 9 coworkers(all traveling) for dinner after a long day of team meetings. Arrived at 7:45 and they weren’t busy at all. We had our drink order taken by 8. Our drinks did not arrive until 8:30! We were all tired and very hungry and our server did not seem to care, she just laughed and said she was tired and hungry too. Food actually came out pretty quickly once we finally ordered at just before 9:00. My potato skins had very little cheese or bacon on half of them. They tasted OK but I honestly think that’s because I was ravenous. Overall, decent food but crappy service that was WAY too slow… especially with it not being busy.

Although the dining room was pretty empty, our food took forever! First our appetizers took about 30 mins(calamari and chilli) — chilli was not a «bowl» btw, more like a small cup thrown into a dish that was tasty but not hot in temperature! And no saltine or oyster crackers; darn! :’(Definitely not $ 6 worth. Then our entrees felt like an eternity! My friend had to wait an additional 15 – 20 minutes because the server put the wrong entrée in and he had to wait for what he ordered to be made. To top it off, when his food arrived, he found some weird plastic piece of something after literally two bites. What a turn off! I’m surprised he was so nonchalant about it because I know he was pissed. Me and my other friends were already done eating and cashed out by the time his entrée came for the third time! Food was nothing to write home about. I had some barbeque chicken dish that was very meh. Broccoli extremely overcooked, loaded mash was like something out of a container in the refrigerated section and chicken was cold although we were told that the chicken was the last to be finished cooking.(What the heck?) My daughter’s mac and cheese was a lukewarm cup of Kraft’s boxed. Save your $ 5 and don’t order that for your kids. They could’ve at least used Velveeta if they were going to go the boxed method. Ugh. I guess those eat and play combos really aren’t a deal considering the shitty food that comes with it. Our server was very friendly but disappointingly inattentive. There were several times where we were literally just sitting there waiting to get water, or her attention or our checks. The reason why I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 is because my daughter enjoys the games. I’ll have dinner elsewhere the next time my kid begs me to return to this place again.

Grown up Chuck-E-Cheese. It can be very loud and crowded, but the specials make up for it.

I have been to Dave & Buster’s a few times now, and I would say that it is similar to a Chuck E Cheese. The only real difference between the two places are the things that are geared towards adults, such as the bar and the food. The staff is generally nice, and the food is decent. If you just want to eat and not play any of the games, you can order only food. Otherwise, they have Eat & Play combos. You can choose from a select menu of entrees and get your meal and a $ 10 power game card for anywhere from $ 16.99−21.99 You have the option to double the game card value for anywhere from $ 24.99−29.99. The Eat & Play combos are available from open to close Sun-Thurs and until 5pm on Fri and Sat. Wednesdays are ½ price game night. One thing I don’t like is the fact that they charge you $ 1 to check your coat. I feel that with what you’re already spending there, the coat check should be free.

Most of the staff and clientele are cool. That’s it. Bad layout, junk options for NA beer, they make you pay for coat check but assume no responsibility. I’m trying to play games here while getting anywhere between 48 and 97 cents change with every drink. This place must make a killing on sweeping the floor. Learn how to round so sales tax doesn’t punish your customers. So, I wrote that part at the bar while awaiting a table. It got worse so I’m updating. Upon being seated, the service was terrible. People started getting up and walking 200 feet to the bar and ordering drinks rather than waiting for table service. I looked around and realized that they were not even that busy. As a vegetarian, I can’t recommend anything on the menu. The guacamole was brown upon arrival and they don’t even give you tortilla chips, just potato. There was one funny moment of miscommunication that seriously merits a menu update: They have two salads, the SWEET Apple Pecan Salad and the CRISP Apple Pecan Salad. One has chicken and one does not. Seriously, marketing department? Did you do any research before naming these things? Needless to say, I asked for an Apple Pecan Salad and was brought the one with chicken. Not the server’s fault, just a miscommunication that was worth the laugh, but come on. I also greatly dislike the men’s room. I understand that there are children here, but you don’t need to mount all three urinals at 8 inches off the ground so grown men have to splash on their legs. There are two sinks but only one towel dispenser, poorly placed and the cause of much congestion among people attempting to leave and enter. And then there’s the speaker for announcing tables are ready, which is set to the same volume as the speakers on the gaming floor, blowing out eardrums left and right. All that said, it’s a great place for people watching. My wife summed it up: «It’s 11 o’clock at night in Tosa. I see a farmer, a diva, and a suburban couple feeding a baby. Where are we?»

This was our first time here. At first it was a little intimidating but the staff really helped us out with what«plan» would work for what we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It didn’t take us long to start enjoying ourselves and having fun.

Something isn’t quite right here. I’ve been to other D&B’s in the country. This one have crappy food and isn’t the cleanest. When we were there the games seemed to be working fine and the service was fine. My biggest issue? The drama. There is a bunch of hoods in there and the cops almost live in there dealing with the crap that goes on. Get some security and keep the trash out.

First impressions here: This place is loud! This place is Bizay! Lots of people out here playing games tonight! Fun modern games with even some that my 3-year old can play. Prizes are good too. So often these places that do games/prizes hardly make it worth putting any money down. This place is the opposite. We’ll be back, but probably on another day of the week. Saturday was just a zoo. We didn’t eat either, but the food looked prett good.

I finally won the giant stuffed gorilla. Dreams do come true. I know some people aren’t into D & B’s but I still like ‘em. Sometimes I just want to play arcarde games, ok? I’m on their email list and often get emails for buy $ 20 of play, get $ 20 free, which makes playing games much more reasonable. Half price Wednesday nights are also a cheaper way to play. Combine that with a coupon and wham, you’re gonna get a whole lotta games for your buck. The food here is subpar. Don’t even bother. Go somewhere else for dinner and then come play. Kids have to leave by 10pm(or 9?) and then the place gets much less busy. Next thing I’m saving my tickets for– the Big Bang Clue game :) Don’t hate.
