Atmosphere is excellent. Nice log cabin with outdoor patio seating. Have only had appetizers while visiting and was happy with the food.

Best Bloody Mary bar I’ve ever seen. Huge, delicious breakfasts that are very affordable. We stop by every weekend we’re in or around Wautoma.

The breakfast there is the bomb. Have eaten there a few times and never been disappointed. Today we ate on the patio and watched the birds. Breakfast potatoes are awsome. Breakfast for two only cost us $ 12.50 where can you get fed for that? The waitress was very friendly and attended all our needs. Emily even brewed a huge fresh pot of coffee.

i wish their menu was more interesting. the only food i liked were the fried mushrooms and their sweet potato fries weren’t bad. the selections were bland and nothing was interesting. service could be better. our waitress was probably having a bad day because her service was sub par. my husband and i dined her with the suggestion of our neighbors. the place is gorgeous with that log cabin feel.

Very cool, a log cabin constructed in 2007 at the site of a 1860’s trading post, overlooking a wetland with the Rattlesnake Creek running through the wetland. There is a huge back porch with tables and «fire pit» overlooking this area. Inside, there are high vaulted ceilings with post and beam construction, a beautiful locally handcrafted red cedar bar topping a fieldstone base, décor in keeping with the 1860’s motif with lots of antiques and replicas. There is a model railroad running at the edge of the bar to deliver your drink. The room is beautiful, the owner is an engineer and his attention to detail is obvious. The food is ok, deep fat fried for the most part, burger is ok, fish fry ok as well. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding, either. The service is good. Prices are a little high for the area, but the atmosphere is well worth the extra price.
